Hello, first time user here, so maybe it's not the right place to ask my question. When the game starts and you need to choose a House, the voice is not consistent with what's showing on the flashing House on the center and on the DMD. Is there something I should do ?

Is there a final solution for when FlexDMD doesn't show up? It works for me on the FlexDemo table. Is there some option or configuration to make it work on this table? The dmd folder is in the same directory - it gives me an error if it's not. According to FlexDMDUI it's registered. I tried re-registering it. I have version 1.9.1.0 and DmdDevice shows version 2.2.2.0.

Why is there no tilt warning on this table ?

One small hit of the tilt bob and it's instant TILT. Unplayable without unpluging the tilt bob completely.

Tilt debounce option doesn't seem to do anything.

J'ai pour le moment mis un gif et un png bidon à la place pour voir

Error: got-wallmbhit0.png and wichit.png in flexdmd For now, I've put a fake GIF and a fake PNG to see.

Runtime error on line 3912 all the time during wall multiball.
Seems like flexdmd or vpx can't find a file.
On 10.8 final and vpinmame 3.6

 

Edit: Making a copy of for example got-wallmbhit1.gif and renaming it into hit0 fixes the crash (in gameofthrones.FlexDMD)

Years later and still no MX effects yet? looks like there were some but it got removed. Any chance someone can post a Json file to import as a User Configuration. Could really use some.

Game also crashes when starting winter has come. Didn't see the error message.

Edit: just saw Zack06007's message and it's probably that. I'm going to copy a png.

the zip contains a json for GoT :D

desperate bump for this issue. I can see the DMD working just fine on desktop, but it won't show in VR and I haven't a clue what to do to get it to show up.

 

Edit: nothing like asking a question online to make you immediately find the solution (after hours of searching and trial and error)

 

With VPinballX_GL64 open, go to Preferences -> VR Settings -> and check 'Capture External DMD'

 

Note that this setting used to be in Preferences -> Configure Keys ... but got moved at some point. And since it's in VR settings now you can't see it if you're configuring the table in the normal VPinballX desktop EXE.

The fixes in the new version are welcome but there is a new bug, even more game breaking. Sadly I deleted the older version.

 

I don't know yet exactly how it happens because it only happened 4 times in ~10 games total. What I know for sure is that it's always after a TILT, you get two balls in the shooter lane at the same time and if you launch them, you are kinda in a broken multiball.

The game really thinks it's in multiball because if you play as Martel you can use the add a ball button.

 

I haven't touched anything in the settings or script. It looks like it's common and easily repeatable. I don't know how many ball you have to lock to make it happen for sure but I guess at least one.
I had it happen a lot of times in my first few games because my real tilt bob is tight and by default the script has 0 warning, like the old version.

Please can you fix this? It's more impacting than the previous crashes on WHC mode because it's not avoidable unless you unplug the tilt bob.

 

When it happens the only way to fix it is to restart the table.

Hi, I noticed a problem with Kicker37 in the script (CastleWall Kicker, second tunnel from the left): when I play on 120hz, if the ball enter the tunnel, instead seeing it kicked out, it teleports just above the flippers.

So I changed the random exit speed assigned here:

Kicker37.Kick 190,RndNum(55,60)

with something lower

Kicker37.Kick 190,RndNum(35,42)

and the problem seems solved.

Just wanted to share it since I'm totally noob on VP script, so maybe you can check it out.
