Can we get a fix for this please?

I will have a look.

For now, delete the .pal file in the trek_201 altcolor folder and set the 4 colors in the game options of pinmame to

100% R 0 , G 128, B 255

66% R 255, G 128, B 0

33%  R 255, G 255, B 128

Off R 0, G 0, B 0

This will result in exactly the same colors like in the pal file without the sizing problem.

Good morning,

After showing my virtual cab no love for the last few months I decided to do some upgrading of the DMD software.  I have installed

DMDdevice.dll version 2.1.1.0

Pin2color.dll 1.1.0.0

Pin2color64dll 1.1.0.0

Running a virtual DMD with PinUp installed.  I believe the above versions are the latest, at least based on the first post downlink.  My issue is that VNI/PAL works, Serum works but PAC does not.  Am I correct in reading within this thread that this is common with the latest upgrades and a Freezy version that enables PAC is in the works?  As you can see from the log the DMDdevice.dll is not attempting to load the Pin2color plugin.  The default colorization is loading (the four color pal).  I know you guys get tired of the same old questions but I promise I have read the last dozen pages of this thread and seem to be getting confused as to where we stand on full integration.  Am I correct in understanding that my results are where we stand and that Freezy is testing a dll with full integration?

Thanks guys,

Lane

@bushav

 Version of dmddevice.dll in my zip is 2.1.3 and not 2.1.1

@nagaidevil

I updated the zip in the first post. Issue with 128x16 and simple palette should be fixed.

Kuddos,  You and @Cliffy solved my problem.  I was snagging the wrong download. Dang it, wasted two hours of my time and five minutes of yours over a rookie mistake.  The Walking Dead is working and looks amazing.  Thanks guys.

Pinball FX should work fine with this version. FX3 has also been reported to work.

Nothing new added to the latest freezy. Just a lot of code refactoring done by freezy.

I have seen this exact issue. If you remove the .pal file and just use orange color, its fine.

maybe someone can help. I downloaded luckys files and pasted the 64 bit in my vpinmame and all color patched roms, color files dont work. All that works now is serum. I tried restoring the backup of the files in vpinmame and nothing. Any ideas?

I was able to restore using my vpinmame backup. Not sure why the file update would do that?

You probably overwrote your dmddevice.ini when you unzipped the new dll's. ALWAYS backup a copy of your dmddevice.ini and b2sttablesettings.xml. Your dmddevice.ini is where all the sizes and positions of each game you ever ran (if you right click and save position)

Ok, so I have been messing with the new lucky release files and here is what I am experiencing.

I can put the pincolor, .dll, etc and no issue. It seems when I put the config file in there, it nukes most all color support.

Am I supposed to overwrite every file (except dmddevice.ini)?

I tried just using the .dll, etc. and everything worked but I could not get fx3 or fx to show color but I may be doing something wrong.

For those I created a folder in altcolor under vpinmame with the file name (fx="Table_19 for example). I dont get any color though.

Sorry guys Im confused or missing something. I upgraded vpx to 64 bit and everything is working great except colour dmds. Im using pin2dmd with .pac files. Do these files not work anymore, do I need to change to serum or zedmd? Or is there a way to get them to work in the .pac format?

did you remove or rename any serum dlls in the vpinmame folder? They are a plugin now so not needed separately

So I should delete the serum dills ?
