I have problems getting the rom for this table to play music.. shouldn’t the music be included in the rom? Any ideas on troubleshooting.. sound and scores work fine, but no music 🫤

when testing the rom using diagnostics it plays the FX but not the music..

I'm having trouble trying to run this table, since whenever I try to run it, it crashes and throws this error:

Description unavailable

I wanted to know if anybody knew how to fix this, since I've tried:

Running on a brand new VPX install:

Local version:  v10.8.1.3788.2151290 (C:\VisualPinballX\VPinballX64.exe)
Online version: v10.8.1.3788.2151290
Latest version installed.

Visual PinMAME:
Local version:  v3.7.0.46.2b48173 (C:\VisualPinballX\VPinMAME\VPinMAME64.dll)
Online version: v3.7.0.46.2b48173
Latest version installed.

dmd-extensions:
Local version:  v2.3.1 (C:\VisualPinballX\VPinMAME\dmdext.exe)
Online version: v2.3.1
Latest version installed.

Using a different  ROM (acd_170.zip from either the source, or Internet Archive)

Never use a 10.8.1.x version, if you don't want to be a beta tester.

Use the latest stable Version of 10.8.0

Install latest b2sserver 2.1.5.1 - even if you don't have a separate backglass display.

Is it possible to turn down the bright light a little bit. On my playfield monitor the image gets oversaturated on a quite big area around each bright light.
I haven't played the original, so it might be accurate to loose track of the ball because of the lights, but it feels a bit off.

hello, i have a probelm when laucnching this table from vpx 10.8, : error : Unable to open sam.vbs. Ensure that it is in the script folder of visual pinball. 

My script folder is in vpiball/visualpinball/script and sam.cbs inside is version 3.61

 

I beacame crazy , it is the only table with this problem

OK i found the problem: core.vbs when i use the special one for Cactus canyon continued, the table ACDC is not working anymore. Is it possible to choose différents scripts folder for one table ?
