"This is VPW control to Major Tom, you've really made the grade!"

VPW are proud to (xmas) present Space Station by Williams!

This machine is pretty unique in that it doesn't have inlanes, just slings leading straight on to the flippers, so there's no chance of a respite from the action! It's a bit of a hidden gem if you've not played it before.

Tomate really fancied doing this one and luckily we managed to track down a playfield we could buy to scan (thanks to those of you who donated through our beer me link here or bought something through our merch store!), and as part of developing it he also played with the way we do inserts and flashers and made them look even more special! We honestly think it's one of the best looking machines we've done so far and the light show is something else, especially in multiball.

*WARNING* There are versions of vpinmame where the solenoid sticks on for System 11 games, but the released versions are fine, be warned and check your solenoids are not latching on if you're using a "non release" version.

VPW does it again! Perfect blend of artistry and technical prowess.

Thank you all for everything that you bring to the amazing hobby!

It was fun to watch this one evolve over the last month or two especially. What a treat for the senses. Plays amazing on desktop and cabinet. Always loved this table with its many sharp angle targets and dangerous shots. Glad I’m only using virtual quarters on this one!

The stress of the timer when you hit the drop target can make you miss that ramp shot so often.

Enjoy everyone. This one is top notch and sets some new visual and physics standards.

well done @tomate and the whole VPW team.

Ummmm.... 😮

I think you all just set a new standard with this table. I truly do. I loaded this up already expecting greatness and was STILL blown away. That's crazy right off the bat being a VPW table. The physics are on another level, to the point where this should be THE reference going forward. But the other thing that truly blew me away and deserves serious praise here is the sound design. The audio coming through my cab is INNNNCREDIBLE! A damn near perfect replication of real life mechanical sounds playing perfectly through my system. Guys, this is seriously unbelievable work here. You are god damn wizards. One more thing before I go, I REALLY like that you all included the option to adjust the color temperature in the f12 menu. 3500 is the sweet spot for me, but just having the option to quickly manipulate that is fantastic.

THANK YOU!!!! 🍻

Beautiful creation of Space Station! I love the physics!

This is such a fun pin to play and you can really tell how much work went into this!

Merry Christmas and thank you very much to EVERYONE involved!  😎

Sinizin

Seriously WOW!!! I have tried this table out before but never liked the slings near the flippers and the physics weren't great etc... Just spent over an hour trying it out and being so impressed. Haven't had a table do that to me in long while. Just intended to try a game after work and put off dinner for over an hour!

The VR effects are absolutely AMAZING as well! Please do these to more tables in the future and update any you can. The little space ship flying around while you play and the shuttle above the backglass etc. Just super super cool stuff to go with the most incredible lighting as you stated in the description. 5 STARS all day. Can't wait to play more!

Furture

JPO

Wow! This is a beautiful table.  I have the FX version of this and its fine, but this version just crushes it.  Well Done.  You people just rock!!!

PinStratsDan

This is one of those tables that I played a heck of a lot on Pinball FX3 Classic Arcade. It was one of the tables with better physics implementation, and because of the unique layout of the table i.e. no inlanes, you had to find a different way to play succesfully. The VPW version is next level, and it looks so gorgeous. The gameplay is still an unique challenge, and you need to learn to read and interpret the ball bounce else you can forget about getting anywhere. Well done VPW!  You spoil us with this lovely Christmas release.

foob

insane work merry christmas!!

UnderMiner

This was one of the tables that has my regular attention on the real machines, because of the interesting rules and gameplay and not the least, the very nice multi ball with coloured playfield GI

And for this vpw table... there are absolute no competitors. This one is so different from the others and so close to the real one, it's amazing !

Pleasantly surprised with this beauty!

Thanks for sharing!! :)
