VPW proudly present a table that'll keep you up!

This started about a year ago when Sixtoe got hold of a playfield scan of Scared Stiff and decided to follow through on a long time promise he'd made to make a series of "how to vpx" videos showing how to build a table totally from scratch.

VPW How To VPX on Youtube

It's one mcarter78's favorite tables, so he started to build it in the toolkit and got hold of some of the toys to scan them, Tomate came in to finish the blender side of things, and Apophis came on board to sort out some script things and add the VR bells and whistles.

Cyberpez built a new 3D backglass and Tomate made a new 3D spider for it.

During building it Sixtoe found a bug in VPX and Niwak fixed it, so now all of the flashers work properly and fade nicely now PWM is implemented properly (you'll need a recent-ish vpinmame for this!), and we think you'll enjoy the lightshow :)

Check out all the options in the F12 menu, which includes the latest and greatest of everything VPW has to offer. Enjoy!

What a few weeks this has been for this community - especially for me! Scared Stiff and TWD are two of my all time favourites, and now I feel like I have them both in my living room. Scared Stiff is an absolute classic - relatively simple qualifying modes (great for newer players) but the Stiff-O-Meter mode never gets old, even for the more experienced players. The game plays so well and the bony beast has never felt sweeter - esp on the back of a few combos. Another beauty of a BG from Hauntfreaks and now the spider looks perfect and remains just as nerve-wracking when you're desperate to select the coffin and crate for extra play.

When you have one of the great pins looking and playing as well as this, then you can't help but have a big smile plastered across your face - especially when its all topped off with the best callouts in pinball history thanks to the legend that is Elvira. Thank you so much guys - unbelievable stuff.

Absolutely gorgeous work ❤️ Looks, awesome, plays awesome, got a lot more control over the ball than in an older version! I played the Scared Stiff (Bally 1996) Mikcab_Mod a whole lot the past couple of weeks so its a joy to see a new version! Personal thought: The other table had a very satisfying sound effect when you shot and entered the crate, sadly there is only the "closed crate" sound playing here no matter if the crate is open or no :(

I learn every day from the videos they made about this table. I wish it would come out. One of the best pinball games of its time, in my opinion.
I appreciate the time the vpw team took on this one, as it had to be taken seriously.
It's a marvel from every angle. Playing it in VR makes me forget I'm in a recreation; I feel like the owner of one. Thanks for that.
It plays like a fucking blast, it's crazy.

VPW's scratch rebuilt of Scared Stiff is absolutely gorgeous and, thanks to input from players with access to the real thing, it plays fantastically. Kudos to the team - another notch in their already impressive belt.

For the last 2 weeks I've been playing CFTBL non stop and now since its release I've played this non stop.  Nothing else is getting a look in

These tables are so damn addictive

I was really surprised when I saw this appear.  Been playing the Mikcab mod version a lot recently (and what a great version it is) I actually didn't think we needed an upgrade on that but this really does take it up to another level

Even on my 12 year old system it looks and plays brilliantly

Another VPW masterpiece of the highest quality, thank you to everyone involved

Scared Stiff has always been one of my favorite tables.

I always enjoyed my previous version, but yet again, VPW takes the playability and artistic beauty to a whole other level.

VPW doesn't know how to be anything other than amazing.

Thanks to all involved for your incredible work!

I never played pinball growing up, but now at 30 years old, VPW is introducing me to some of the tables that I now call favorites. This one is near the top of that list. Thank you guys for your exceptional work and for introducing/reminding everyone in the VPin community, to and of, amazing tables. Cheers!

How have I not seen this before, maybe I thought I already had this but d/l today and am loving it!  Of course it's by VPW, what's not to love about it 😆
