Hello all

I am new to the forum and would like to build this for one of my pinballs

This is all very complex but I see the pcbway link in the first post. If I click the link and order it as pcb+Assembly is that all I need to do other than add quantity? Do I need to modify anything else or add anything to the order?

If that is correct I will order this and then the panels

Thanks

Maybe this helps

Make sure you get non-PWM chipset panels. Due to countless variants and hard to get  programming documentation PWM chipsets are not supported.

Thanks for the video and the advice on the lcd panels

I had a look at it but it’s for the 128 x 32 version

I am trying to build the larger 256 x 64 version

Also I am not sure if pcbway has changed since this video was made but I was unable to find the first part on the pcbway page about source code?

Are all the settings the same as the 128 version or slightly different?

The process is the same for all PIN2DMD boards on pcbway.

Thanks for your help 😀

I am nearly ready to order but I’m not sure what to answer the below?

I have received an email back saying

We noticed that there are some holes in pads. Do you need to add the resin? (The purpose of adding the resin is to prevent the solder paste from flowing into the hole and causing a short circuit in the welding.) If yes, do you need all bias filled with resin capped or just fill the via in pad with resin?

The answer is No ! From time to time they come up with new questions. I assume to make some additional money.

I have updated the first post with pictures from the new pcb layout with raspberry PI MMI interface.
