NOTES:

MOD UNAUTHORIZED WITHOUT EXPLICIT PERMISSION FROM THE AUTHORS

You can access to the menu with the Special2Key.
You have to kift the ball with the Special1Key or allow automatic ball lift in the menu.
You can toggle (by the toggle HUD key) the HUD reel.
If you use arrows for plunger (optional), you have to use arrow down and arrow up (customisable) in order to pull or push the plunger.
And you have an extra option in order to have a peg between the flippers.

 

Rules:

Hitting 1 to 5 rollovers lights out hole and special rollovers. Special when lit rollovers award 1 replay. Hitting A-B-C-D targets advances one monkey and scores 200 points. 1 replay for advancing 1 monkey to the top of the palm tree. 2 replays for advancing 2 monkeys to the top of the palm tree. 3 replays for advancing 3 monkeys to the top of the palm tree.
Matching last number in points score to lighted number that appears on back glass when game is over awards 1 replay.
Note: the award for 2 monkeys at the top is adjustable (via the menu): 1 or 2 replays.

The first monkey to the top awards 1 replay. The second monkey awards either 1 or 2 more replays (operator adjustable). The third monkey awards 3 more replays. Only the second monkey award is adjustable. This feature carries over from game to game. End-of-ball bonus scores 20 points or 200 when lit.

Maximum displayed point score is 1,999 points.

Notes:Unlike other Gottlieb games of this period, 'Tropic Isle' has no option for 3-ball play.
