12 year old me just flipped his shit.  Present day me has a huge smile on his face in amazement of how good this table is.  I don't know what superlative to use here so I'll just say you all did an amazing job on this classic Gottlieb from a time when they were still relatively competitive in pinball.  The lighting, physics and gameplay are all at the top of the heap in VPX pinball simulation.  Thank you, guys, for this amazing work of art.  Cheers! 🍻💯

A table I played a fair bit back in the 90’s as my local hangout had one, but in VPX it’s unfortunately one I  usually pass over…

This version however makes a massive difference in the overall experience and playability.

No disrespect to anyone, but this is a huge leap forward from the other versions out there. Lighting and physics are about as close to the real one as you can get. It feels right.

well done and thank you to everyone involved!

MASTERPIECE

So much fun to play this table! It plays perfect and the visuals of the table, topper and VR room are next level.

The table feels very mechanical too, the SSF on this table is outstanding.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for this great achievement guys. I remember putting a coin in this machine during a village festival when I was a child, what a great memory. Thanks again for everything you do 👍.

Hadouken! VPinworkshop Wins!

What a pleasant surprise! This table feels so real in all its aspects.

The physics are great, the 3D visuals and light really nice and the Fleep sound vibration feedback is really great (on par with Whirlwind!).

Thank you to Gedankekojote and the whole team for bringing this marvel to fruition! Much appreciated!

You all are wizards, once again turning a "meh" table into something truly amazing.  I don't have VR glasses nor have I never tried it, but I want to experience that arcade VR room.  😍  Thanks once again for another incredible gift. 🍻

Incredible table! Everything is just perfect from the lighting and 3D and the physics are incredibly realistic, probably one of the most realistic yet!

I've never played this table but this version reveals so many interesting details and cool features, I am excited to run across it in real life the next time and I'll make sure to put some quarters in!

Thanks as always to VPW, the V-Pin wizards!

Wow! What an amazing job you guys did on this table. Feels great, it's fun to play and looks like a worn machine, with those amazing textures, light and inserts. Congratulations 👏

What a result !
The real pinball itself is not very fun (too much stop n' go), but your work on the virtual version is amazing.
Love to see all these details, all the reflection from the lights... Crazy !

Your virtual version hooked me !

Thank's a lot !

Beautifully rendered and plays great! I've never seen this one in person. Seeing recreations like this is a great way to preserve and share pinball history.  Thanks for all the work guys!

I had jpsalas original for longest time, but finally got this one working and you certainly need to be on latest of everything on this one. Tuned to my desktop liking with puppack. Great work VPW!

I have never encountered this table in reality, and I'll admit that each time I have played it before, even with the JP Salas version of it in VR, I have never really understood it. I think that I still don't like it (I think in general I don't really 'gel' with the way Gottleib designers thought of pinball in comparison to what Williams/Bally were doing at the same time) very much, but I think in this version, I understand it and understand the design and approach. VPW's rendering is beautiful, the VR room is very fitting, and the experience is probably as good as it can get. I still think that Gottleib's decision to approach the fights as single shots to complete rather than modes feels like a completely missed opportunity in terms of pinball design, but that's not VPW's fault. Rand Paulin's approach of creating a pinball game that would incorporate some kind of transmedia narrative just never really works, IMHO, but this is a beautiful virtual pinball experience nonetheless. Thank you, once again, awesome people of VPW.
