    This video is a collaboration between DALL-E and me (and of course, the original artist who made this game's backglass).  There are some tables that it's not easy to animate the existing artwork, so sometimes I try something different.  this is one of those times.
     
    The video is made from the logo and the astronaut pictured on the backglass, but the background layers are generated by DALL-E with some prompting by me.  Open AI has recently added a tool that allows you to generate more of a picture that you've already generated and this is what allowed me to create the long background pictures needed to create the parallax.
     
    I gave DALL-E a small sample from the backglass (see below) and then created three background layers.
     
    For the front layer, I used the prompt "1970's sci-fi other-worldly patterns."
    For the middle layer, I used the prompt "1970's sci-fi other-worldly landscape."
    For the rear layer, I used the prompt "1970's sci-fi other-worldly landscape against a dark sky."
     
    In all three cases, as the picture gets further from the original sample, DALL-E starts to get more "creative," but overall, I am happy with the effect of each of the layers.
     
    The music is "Time" by the Alan Parsons Project.  This song is from a few years after the table, but fits really well with the vibe.

    This video is made from the game's backglass.  The audio is cobbled together from several different Ford Model T recordings. I guess that is a little anachronistic since the Model T wasn't produced until 1908, but it was much easier to get good recordings of that vehicle than any of the ones that are actually from the 1890s.  Anyway, it's a fun sound effect and goes well with the video.

    Since JP's version is the only actual Ghostbusters table available today for VPX, I figured some people might want to use a video that is specific to that table.  This video is made primarily out of footage from the movie, but I did clip the word "Slimer!" out of the backglass that hauntfreaks made for this table then modified it to work in this context.

    Ok, so I made two versions of this loading video.  The first one, which is the one I've put onto my own cabinet, is called "Ghostbusters OTT - Loading-opt".  This version uses a couple of lines of dialog ("cats and dogs living together", etc.) from the scene in the movie where the Ghostbusters are in the mayor's office.  This version also has a video interruption near the end, and a brief view of the Ghostbusters commercial that is shown early in the film, followed by a couple of seconds of blackout.  I also created an alternate version, "Ghostbusters ALT - Loading-opt", that is shorter and just uses the Ghostbusters theme for the audio track.  
     
    The OTT version works best if you have Pinup Popper set up to play through the entire video before showing the game.  If you don't, the alternate version will probably work better for you.

    This artwork of this table is more or less copied from Flight 2000, so I used a similar loading video for it.  Unlike Flight 2000,  this table doesn't use a voice synth, so I replaced the samples in that video with the song "Something in My Heart" by Röyksopp.  There's no real connection to the table, I just like the song.

    I felt like creating another vintage sport-theme loading video and settled on this one. I suppose this is technically for the 2-player version of the table (since that was the only nice version of the wheel/logo I could find at the time), but nothing is stopping you from using it for either.

    I knew this was a classic playfield design, but I didn't realize how widely Gottlieb had reused it.  I've made loading videos for the 3 with common artwork: Gold Strike, Lucky Strike and El Dorado.

    This video is made from elements of the game's backglass.  The music is from the unrelated 1958 MGM musical, GiGi, a song called "Thank Heaven for Little Girls".  This song's lyrics have not aged well at all, even if it is a catchy tune.  So I just used an instrumental portion of the song.

    This is another video for which I had a hard time coming up with an animation based on the game's artwork.  So I decided to use real footage from a Grand Prix instead.  I tried to find period-appropriate video to use, but when I blew up the cars to the size of the screen, they didn't look like cars anymore, no matter how hard I tried to make it work.  So instead, the footage is from the 2022 Miami Grand Prix.  Sorry, about the Crypto.com advertisements built in - I honestly didn't notice them until I had put together all of the clips.
     
    The logo is a modified version from the game's backglass.
     
    By the way, for the true F1 fans out there:  I apologize in advance from the audio.  I built it from audio clips that are not at all the original sound from the video.  It was the only way I could provide audio without having to keep the german commentary from the original that is now oddly-trimmed because of my edits.  If it bothers you, feel free to remove it.

    There are two versions of this video.  Which one you choose may depend on how ridiculous you think this table is to begin with.
     
    "Gorgar - Loading" is just the backglass from the game with a few animated snakes thrown in for good measure.
     
    "Gorgar Got You - Loading" adds a very short, Shatneresque spoken lyrics jam to the mix with a little backup from The Kinks' "You Really Got Me".  I couldn't decide if this was stupid and funny or just stupid, but it is the version I installed on my cabinet.
