    Here is a FOM (Night Mod) for the Gottlieb Spirit (1982) Many thanks to luvthatapex for the permission to mod and to destruk for the original release I believe the mod is based off. This table must be played with VP990 I've had this version half done on my dev machine for quite a while now and decided to finish it up this week. Release info. Assigned bottom left and right lane save flippers to left and right magnasave. Fixed saucer solenoid / driver lamp assignments. Added moving Star Gate ramp - Thank you to the authors of the most recent WhirlWind table for this routine. Implemented updated insert lighting routine and flasher routine - Thanks to JP Salas. Added a bunch of sounds. Added DOF sub routine for non rom controlled table elements - Thanks Arngrim Added ball rolling sound routine - Thanks to JimmyFingers. Added flasher based GI and Ambient Lighting - Thanks fo JimmyFingers for halo GI textures and LoadedWeapon for some color alpha sprites. Added collision sound routines - Thanks to some code snippets from UW's Monster Bash. Added some primitive items for bonus targets and some gate brackets - Thanks to UW's Primitive Template Table. And thanks to everyone else who contributed code / assets to this and all tables released here who I cannot identify the origin of. Table options available at the top of the script. (All are on by default). UseB2S = 1 ' Use DirectB2S BackGlass Controller. Color_Ambient = 1 ' Turn on/off Color Ambient PF lighting. Ledpanel_Glow = 1 ' Turn on/off Glow above LED Segment PF panel Glass = 1 ' Render Top Glass effect. Gottlieb System 80 tables use black magic and witchcraft for their solenoid assignments. Many solenoids are fired by the lamp matrix via an aux driver board with power transistors on it. The following table is a list of DOF assignments I have included in the script for devices that are not fired by the rom. DOF assignments currently in the script. DOF 140 - Left Magna DOF 141 - Right Magna DOF 100 - Bumper DOF 101 - Left Sling DOF 102 - Right Sling DOF 170 - Top Right Sling DOF 171 - Centre Sling Additional lamp assignments which can be mapped using DOF. L15 - Bottom Right Saucer L14 - Top Left Saucer L12 - Ball Eject to Trough L13 - Star Gate There you have it, I hope you enjoy this old beauty. I skipped school many times when I was younger to travel into the city to play this so it was a blast to be able to work on it. JP Salas for his awesome flasher scripts - All the VP devs for the flasher ordering fix (made doing this a joy.) and all the people who have contributed code you find in the script for this table. Please read below before downloading and running this table. This mod requires VP 9.9.0 final available from http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/432-visual-pinball-full-install/ Do not try running it in older VP versions. The table is configured with directb2s as the controller option. Two files are included like my other FOM tables. Use the file ending with sunken for a cabinet that has a playfield monitor below a real pinball glass. Use the file ending with flush for a cabinet that has a playfield monitor which sits flush with the top of a cabinet without a pinball glass. Features: 255 step alpha flashers B2B collision detection. BMPR LITE momentum implementation. Various sound tweaks and additions. 8 Step WPC GI. Graphics variables: At the start of the script there are several graphics parameters that can be adjusted. (Tune to your liking).     This is a flasher object mod for v1.02 of 85Vett's Xmen Table. The mod adds the new flasher object found in the most recent VP betas to the table and removes the older 4 step alpha ramp flashers. 2 .diff files are included, one for flush mount playfield monitor cabinets and one for the more traditional sunken playfield monitor cabinets. Both versions include sidewall lighting with the flush mount version also including colored sidewalls and siderails to the add to the sense of depth. The flasher objects allows for 255 steps of progression from 0 to full ON so the flash effect is much smoother than the traditional alpha ramps. Many thanks to the VP devs, 85Vett and JPSalas for his flasher fading scripts and support while the mod was being done. Anyway, patch away and I hope you enjoy it.     SEMI AUTHENTIC BACKGLASS - Gottlieb Spirit (1982). Starting with Piggei's Original, this directb2s has been modified with a new HD background image and rotating stars animation. The stars spin faster than the original but I wanted the animation to remain relatively smooth so I went with that trade off. Other small animations have also been added and some faux GI effects. Please make sure you are using the latest version of the directb2s server. If you are using the older B2S version of the Spirit table - make sure you set the line to automatically load the original rosve backglass .exe to false and add the appropriate entry to start the directb2s controller. I would also recommend renaming the table so that it does not end in "B2S" otherwise you might experience issues if using HyperPin as a frontend to load the table. Dozer.

    DUAL MODE BACKGLASS PLEASE READ. Cirqus Voltaire - Bally 1997. I put together this backglass specifically for a workaround to a bug I was having with the Pinball X front end. It seemed that with both the Direct Output Framework running, Pinball X and the original Rosve .exe backglass, PinballX would cause a weird issue with stuck flippers and flashers. Because I want to use PinballX, the only solution was to make a directb2s backglass that could be run without the original Rosve .exe glass. Voltaire is my favorite table and I love the light show and dynamics so this backglass has a fairly conservative (authentic) layout and a slightly more dynamic one. Choose which one you like best from the directb2s settings dialog when the table loads. INSTALL To use this with the current versions of B2S VP Cirqus Voltaire you need to make sure the "load backglass" line is set to false in the script i.e. LaunchBackGlass "Cirqus_Voltaire_Night_Mod_(VP916_3.1)_FS_B2S", false 'True=Launch bg , False=Don't launch bg. and that set controller section is then set to Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server") like any other directb2s enabled table. If you're using HyperPin or a front end that auto loads the associated Rosve style .exe backglass based on table names ending with "B2S" then simply rename the table making sure it doesn't end in "B2S". If you are using the non B2S versions of Voltaire then you don't need to worry about the "LaunchBackGlass" line and simply change the controller to Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server") Make sure you are using the latest directb2s server and set the backglass to run in .exe mode. SPECIAL NOTES: This backglass was a bitch to do and I've tried my hardest to get it looking reasonable. As time permits I'll try to enhance it a bit more with some other features. I wanted to use a smoothly rotating wheel but there was an issue with how to fire it so I had to revert to static images that are rotated based on an animation.. It looks ok but I want to get it smoother at some stage. From time to time the cannon fires twice even though the solenoid that services it only seems to fire once. I'm not sure what's causing this but I'll try to nail it down at some stage and implement a fix for that as well. Anyway, have fun in the Cirqus

    This is a quick version of Stern's Playboy with a grill 1 quick animation using lamp flare images and some hard wired GI. I'm not a fan of Stern games and threw this together quickly as the other directb2s specified in the table download didn't seem to work. Seeing as though the table promised the possibility of seeing boobs in pinball however I thought I'd give it a go and therefore needed a backglass to accompany the table. If anyone who enjoys purist / original back glass lighting wants to modify the file to be authentic please feel free to download Herweh's excellent designer app and re-upload in dual mode.
