Content Provider Itchigo Posted June 2, 2024 Content Provider Posted June 2, 2024 When I open this table in the editor, the properties tab is blank. Also, I can't click on the script button. The table plays fine but I usually adjust the angle to my liking, etc. All of that seems to be locked out. I tried the vp version in the link above to test if maybe I had an old version, and that version does the same thing. Any ideas?

Set POV how you like and then hit the 1 key to save the ini file. You can also unlock the table in editor by going to Table, lock/unlock
Content Provider Itchigo Posted June 5, 2024 Content Provider Posted June 5, 2024 Thanks Cliffy, the only other thing I want to do is make the lockdown bar invisible.
Madonion Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 First time ever i have a issue with a stunning VPW table. i got a high end VR headset and while the mega room is amazing it lags but i cant set VR room to minimal in script i even saved it and it always opens in mega room? im selecting 3.
LunatechFringe Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 I wanted to confirm something about the ROM. Do we use the fan patch version of jupk_600? I have two versions available, but I don't have the fan patch version installed. The one I currently have on my cab has five files in it. I also have the other necessary ROM. The five-file version was working with a previous version of the table I had installed on my cab. Thanks for all of your awesome tables!

You will need both jupk_513 and jupk_600 to run the default code supported by the table's script.

jcat Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 (edited) Wow this is weird. It's the only VR Room I have with this problem. Game loads/plays OK, but the backglass artwork is blown out to mostly white and flickering. I have the latest everything -- way past even the most recent Baller Installer files, including latest VPinmame (VPinMAME-sc-3.6.0-929) & B2S Server. I'm on 10.8 VPX GL. Any ideas? EDIT: Can't delete this so I edited. Problem solved. I didn't realize 10.8 had to be candidate 3. Now all is good. BTW, I looked to the right in the VR Room and jumped out of my skin. Love this table and all VPW releases. Edited June 24, 2024 by jcat Problem Solved

When launching from Pinup Popper VPX hangs 'Visual Pinball (Not Responding)'. Which causes Popper to freak out and freeze, then eventually crash. This occurs with No Fear 50% of the time too, but all other VPW/VPX tables (incl later release VPW tables) launch fine without issue. Seems to launch fine directly from VPX. Anything I should or could change in Popper (I have alternate launch app set as VPX 10.8 64 of course). running v10.8 rev 1947 (x64) vpinmame 3.6.0.929.8c5f83e (x64) cheers, Richie Just an update and FYI for my issue (VPX/Popper crashing when trying to launch Jurassic park) I found that if I removed db2s back glass for the table, then tried again it would launch. All the db2s files I use are pretty heavy duty, good quality backglasses (which I appreciate - thanks Haunts). I guess running a heavy duty table and a super backglass was just too much for VPX and my system to even launch. I found if I replaced my db2s backglass with an older. simpler/smaller backglass this problem went away. As much as I love super quality backglasses, I'd rather have a playable super quality table/playfield and a crappy backglass , than the other way around
CyberMage Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 Great looking table but a couple of problems for me: When I press the left flipper button, the table crashes and says "Line 897: Variable is undefined 'kicker001'" - If I comment out line 897 the table plays just fine. I'm running in 64 bit 10.8 so this may be a factor. I have not tested in other versions. The shaker goes off way too often for no apparent reason, even after grabbing the latest DOF changes posted above. I don't have a knocker. No LED effects. I know it's a new table, just don't know if that's expected. None of my LED's or flashers light up which kind of leads me back to the DOF issue above. Once when I got to ball 3 it stopped recognizing plunger input. I never reproduced this, and the flippers still worked but pulling back the plunger did nothing. Exiting and restarting the table was required. I don't have any performance issues out of it mentioned by others, and I'm running 4k 120hz with a RTX-3080 on an old AMD CPU.
neko20 Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 I'm not sure what's going on with my personal setup, but this is the only VPW table that's giving me some issues. The ball physics are off, where the ball flies around the table like it's got butter on it. The Control Room shot also seems to reject the ball more often than it goes in whereas the other iteration of the table it goes in no problem. This is my favorite pin and would love to play this version but am just wondering how I can adjust these minor issues. Thank you.
becausereasons Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 This table won't start for me... coins go in, but no start.
SomeRandomGuyontheInternet Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 (edited) So, I just realized that I have no idea what I'm doing. I got all the files needed to run the game, but I don't know how to set everything up. Can someone walk me through the process, step-by-step? Preferably with screenshots. EDIT: The game I'm trying to run is 1993's Jurassic Park by Data East. The problem I'm having is these two errors. The first error is "Runtime Error: Line 391 Object missing: 'Controller' " . I figured that had something to do with the controls not being bound. I tried that, no dice. I looked into the code and saw that I needed a "controller.vbs" file in order to run the game. I checked the directory, and sure enough it was there in the plugins folder. Then, there's the SECOND error. "Line: 722 Type mismatch: 'UBound' ". That one, I have no idea what it is. I'm not a tech geek, so I don't know anything about this. Edited April 3, 2025 by SomeRandomGuyontheInternet Updated information for better assistence
r3trogear Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 looks like this is the table that will finally force me to update my gfx card *sigh.* Ive been putting it off, cause I dont really play many AAA games, and all my tables thus far played perfectly. Not sure how I even went this long without downloading JP. it's my favorite table, and movie. From the little bit of gameplay I did experience, it looks amazing
bhampster91 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 Yesterday I had a working VPW version of this table. I tried this today and upgraded to 64bit VPX but a lot of my tables instantly had performace issues. I'm afraid the version of this table I have yesterday is no longer available here or anywhere else. Can someone help me find yesterdays' version? Please
deadmanworking Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 @bhampster91 what do you mean by yesterday's version? The table itself hasn't been updated for a while, only the credits/description
bhampster91 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 Are you sure. It says it requires 64 Bit VPX now. Maybe I have to look more into it. I DL-ed it today and upgraded to 64bit and then had other problems so I went back to 32 bit and now the table doesn't load. This could just be me being confused. I'm new to VP. Thanks for replying.
bhampster91 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 (edited) Just tried without the frond end and got an Out Of Memory error that I have never seen before. I have 32GB RAM also. VPW confirmed the file didn't change so it's some confuguration problem of mine. Another reminder to make backups. Thank you to all. Edited December 19, 2025 by bhampster91
deadmanworking Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 @bhampster91 probably a mismatch in your config, check this guide to update to all of the current stable versions: VPX 10.8 (2051), VPinMAME 3.6 (3.7 also fine), b2sserver 2.1.3 or 2.1.4 Mashup (2.1.5 still giving issues)
bhampster91 Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 (edited) Thank you. I have everything working now using the 64 bit VPX without performance issues. Was a problem I made for myself and I appreciate all the help. Edited December 19, 2025 by bhampster91 claifification and brevity
Memorex Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Thanks a lot, always love me som Jurassic Park. Being the novice I am, it really kicked my a** though.
GLBwell Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Where can I download the jupk_600.zip file (any other files needed for Jurassic Park)??? I can only find a patch file that is 243KB, but looking for the original file that should be ~600-800KB (I think). Apologies for the likely obvious question, I'm a Newbie...
