This table is reminder to a simpler time when all you needed was a bunch of drop targets and few colored lights to keep you entertained for hours. No complex rules, no intricate ramps, no wireforms, no multiball, no loops, no fancy bash toys, heck there aren't even any spinners, just pure simple pinball fun. Complete drop target banks and blast off!

The VPW cosmonauts that brought you this in order of appearance:

FrankEnstein - 3D modeling, rendering, some code (Rocket design)

MCarter78 - VPX table build (Rocket science)

bthlonewolf - Additional scripting (Rocket tune-up)

DGrimmReaper - VR Setup (Launch ramp engineering)

HauntFreaks - Backglass (Mission control engineering)

Apophis - Scripting support (Count-down voice)

My son and I recently played this table in the wild and had an absolute blast. Whenever we stumble across cool machines out in the world, I always come home and hunt for a digital version—and we were so stoked to see that VPW had this one. It did not disappoint. We're thrilled to have it in our collection now. Totally agree with everyone else about the physics and gameplay—spot on. High five, fist bump, hug—whatever floats your boat as a thank you!

As others have said, I'm really glad the VPW team are mixing it up and giving some of the older tables much deserved love.

I adore the weathered playfield and the little cracks and imperfections create incredible realism - it's still beautiful and reflective of a machine of this era. The physics are perfect where the ball feels weighty and reacts as you would expect for a pin from 79. The game is great fun - especially against friends - and becomes even more interesting now i've realised you have to hit the banks down in order to light your multipliers!

Huge thanks as usual to all involved. Genius.

What a luscious table.  It looks and plays so, so good.  The art and gameplay takes you to a much simpler time when you would hop in your 1972 Camero, pick up a few buddies and some brews and head to the local hang on a Friday night to play some pool and pinball all while your mullet was flopping in the wind and you were tripping over your bell bottoms.  Great job on this one guys, it's really incredible!  Thanks to all who put this together.  Cheers! 🍻

The table looks great and the playability is fantastic. I don't know how you did it, but the ball looks particularly great on this table. All the physics are really great and it's super fun with all the drop targets.
Thanks a lot for sharing to all involved.

I haven't played much in the way of EM tables, but just moments into trying out this release, I think that's all about to change :) The physics are outstanding and, in my opinion, it's the Trojan horse that allows the "EM charm" to sneak in and break through for people like myself. I'm very excited at the possibility of VPW tackling different eras and if Count-Down is any indication, things are about to get very interesting! VPW and friends, thank you for all your hard work and dedication—I am forever grateful ❤️
