This table is reminder to a simpler time when all you needed was a bunch of drop targets and few colored lights to keep you entertained for hours. No complex rules, no intricate ramps, no wireforms, no multiball, no loops, no fancy bash toys, heck there aren't even any spinners, just pure simple pinball fun. Complete drop target banks and blast off!

The VPW cosmonauts that brought you this in order of appearance:

FrankEnstein - 3D modeling, rendering, some code (Rocket design)

MCarter78 - VPX table build (Rocket science)

bthlonewolf - Additional scripting (Rocket tune-up)

DGrimmReaper - VR Setup (Launch ramp engineering)

HauntFreaks - Backglass (Mission control engineering)

Apophis - Scripting support (Count-down voice)

For those that are getting a rom error with countdwn rom  see this link and it tells you how to fix it.   I only needed the shown updated roms link below his video and it fixes the Gottlieb Gen 1 tables.    Enjoy  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ys8uNnmmZzs

FrankEnstein and the rest of the VPW team did an amazing job on this table. It is beautiful to look at, and the physics is great. At first I thought the bounce on the flippers is really off, but within a couple of seconds of watching some real gameplay, I realised that they got the gameplay absolutely spot-on.

This is the most realistic vpin table I've played, physics, lighting + sounds are superb + the table looks so real! We don't want super sharp graphics like we're playing a pc game, this is real life :)

Love that you're giving these older tables the VPW treatment too, hopefully more to come ❤️

I love these "simpler time" tables :) especially when they look, play and sound just like the real thing. You guys did a fantastic job and I can't thank you enough, especially for the VR.

I didn't know it was possible to add Post-it notes to tablets that work with ROMs. This must be the first time. Wonderful!

Amazing build!!

Look i.e. at the playfield.....

It's not picture perfect but Pinball Perfect with all the litthe scratches and damages a real pinball would also have.

More perfect then perfect, great work,
Thanks!

Excellent table with realistic physics and components! I am not a fan of the weird skin used on the ball, but that was easily changed on my end to something reminiscent of old steel. Great work!

No working ROM for this on any of the sites. Please consider linking to a working rom for this table. Thanks.

The play and lighting is excellent, as always and I like the vintage, well used look of the playfield but I gotta be honest, the whole playfield image appears quite blurry.  Not sure if that's what VPW was going for but playfield images on VPW tables are usually much sharper than this one.

I love all era of pinball, and as I've said before, VPW is so skilled at combining game play, physics and artistry.

Thanks to everyone involved for bringing this beauty to life!

This has become one of my favourite tables.  Between the lighting and the way the physics have been implemented it's extremely easy to forget you're not playing a physical table.

For all it's a pretty simple table conceptually it really is a cracking design and is really engaging to play, especially once you've got a bit of a handle on how it plays.  It is also immensely satisfying watching the bonus ladder count down once you've got the multiplier cranked up.  Surprised me that it ended up playing both sounds AND chimes, but it actually kinda fits.

There's really nothing not to like.  Great space theme, great physics, lovely not-pristine playfield model, gorgeous lighting... doesn't get better than this in my opinion.

Huge thank you to everyone involved for making this come together and for sharing it with us.

This feels perfect! Excellent work! Would love these exact physics added to the Cuphead game, wish I had the know how to o it.

Nice update. I like the darker desktop background but to my taste the score frames are now a bit too bright on dark backgound. It seems that the desktop scores are not working if the post-it feature is disabled (standalone 10.8.0 on Linux). Maybe the post-it feature could play some sound when the initials are requested.

Very nice table .. Thank you!

Only, with this and previous versions, I did not get the B2S Backglass running, whatever I tried to adjust in the script.

Anyone any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

FD.
