Hey, pal, there’s a cover charge here!

Welcome to the Big Bang Bar, the bangin’est place in the galaxy. We wondered, what table would be a good showpiece for some of the new lighting techniques that have been developed lately and BBB was a clear choice with amazing light shows. Plus, it’s just really fun. Have a drink, hit the mosh pit, and try not to get bounced!

Your VPW Big Bang Bartenders

  • Gedankekojote97: 3D rebuild and rendering with light mapper, nFozzy physics and Fleep sounds
  • Apophis: Light mapper script integration, tons of script updates, table rebuild #savetheballs
  • Rawd: New RGB VR room and VR cab setup
  • Leojreimroc: VR backglass (image by HauntFreaks)
  • ClarkKent: 2D and 3D assets, physics tweaks
  • Jsm174: VPX standalone support
  • Toxie: VPinMAME support
  • Sixtoe: Table cleanup
  • nFozzy: Improved alien animation
  • VPW Testers: bietekwiet, Primetime5k, PinStratsDan, HauntFreaks, Wylte, H3RBSKIx, RetroG33k, Lukpcn, Colvert, TastyWasps, Smaug

Special Thanks To

  • Niwak for creating the amazing blender toolkit!
  • Steely for the VR backbox hinge model and lava lamp code
  • UncleWilly, Jimmyfingers, Grizz, and Rom, the original team that made BBB in VP9 and FP
  • Ninuzzu and ClarkKent for their VPX conversion
  • The VPX and VPinMAME developers. Without them the party would have never started

Installation Notes:

The download zip file includes the VPX file and a NV ram file. Place the VPX file in your Tables folder and place the NV file in your >VPinMAME>nvram folder.

Great work everyone!

Looks magnificent!

@pezima77

How can you give 3 stars out of 5 on a great table like this?

It is not the tables fault that your sytem can't run it like it should be ran.

Rate your computer setup 3 out of 5 stars, not the table.

And then to add to your disrespectful review, you want another version made because people can't afford 500 dollar Graphics cards? On the day they just released this version?

Show some respect.

Wow guys! That is a lot of scary setup steps. I have worked so hard to get my system setup.  I will have to take a pass on this table. I do appreciate everything you guys do.

Thanks for this very nice table ! amazing work guys.

edit : sorry guys , there is no problem with your table, it's only my pc that's shit , so I will wait to be able to play it, it does not matter

@xenonph you are right it is my pc which is the cause not the table, the table is very good everyone will have the chance to play it...

@VPinWorkshop thank you for the link for people who do not have a powerful pc, I did not know this table, fortunately you are there...

Response from the author:

"Let me google that for you"

There are already many versions of this table for older machines, I'd suggest you use those instead, this version is not designed for older machines.
This is the recommended lower resource one;

Looks like a great table but when it loads it has white glitches all over the table. Im sure it has to do with the graphics. I've tweaked  everything I can think of. I'm running I7, 16g Ram, RTX3060.

I don't know why, it's the first version (from VPW) of BBB that work on my pincab (I had a blank playfield on previous version).
So i'm dicovering this crazy version of the table.

Totaly amazing, it's ridiculous how good this table is rendered !

Thank's for all this work, again and again !

Mind blown! VPW Team, This table has now given me the need to add this to my playlist.

Was not sure out of all my tables the one I would use.  Now  problem solved!

Not just because of how this table looks but how smooth it plays!

I did not have to make any adjustments, 100% out of the box!

Thanks Team VPW!
This will be sitting top shelf as the gold standard!

Congrats on a beautiful Gold Standard in my book!
