Two years ago when I just started fooling around with VPX and had a 50" TV I had repaired on the floor, this was the second table I installed (after Tom & Jerry).  After playing VPW's version yesterday, I realized I had NEVER played this table since it was installed on my test setup.  Thank you so much for bringing this one back to life, I'm truly enjoying what the team has done here. 😘

I can't thank you enough for another fantastic table.  At 73 I grew up with pinball and have always loved it. My VP Cab is my most prized possession. Although the old EMs are my favorite, my age is showing, your tables make my cab POP.  Your gorgeous playfield, the alt sound, and the color DMD make this table my new favorite !!!

THANK YOU     THANK YOU    THANK YOU  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phenomenal effort team, thankyou so much. I've loved this table from the early days of VP and even got to play it in the wild once. Looks incredible in 3D too.

Note that the IPDB link is incorrect (links to Iron man.)

A question, does anyone know how to minimise the tiger stripe effect on the chrome rails to the left of the reactor chimney? I might have a play with light heights and see if that has any positive effect. Or maybe a material change?

Edit: Nope, that didn't help, looks like it's the texture and suspect the stripes are less obvious on 4K (I'm on 1080p)? It shifts around a bit when you adjust the POV.

Edit 2: I tried zooming in on the area by adjusting POV XY scale and mimicking what you might be seeing at 4K and the stripes are mostly not evident at that zoom level. Looks like this may be a poor man's problem and one more push towards updating my setup. You can see what I'm talking about in the main screenshot though.

Set the table to cab mode in the script.

The table is really amazing! Thanks!
But it was too heavy for my system even with the visual pin settings and the dynamic shadows off. Can I do anything else to try to at least lock at 60 fps?

Thanks but that doesn't seem to diminish the stripes for me. I think its basically because the texture has a hard time rendering on such a thin wire at 1080p as there are not many pixels to work with.

Also, if anyone else notices that the sideblade art looks quite blurry in their cab compared to the preview image of the table here (it looks somewhat like a double vision blur on vertical axis) try enabling "force anisotropic texture filtering" in Preferences/Graphics options. This fixed the issue for me (although framerate hit).

I think this should be preserved at the main site. Still makes me laugh.

Hehe. To add context, “Me and this project” refers to @iDigStuff when he made that pic. :) And @Sixtoe @Rawd and a few others really “cleaned up” too. Nice work guys.
