    This video is built from a video recorded from my cabinet, elements of the game's back glass, the flyer from the Meresa version of the game (it was the easiest way to get the game's logo) and some stock footage.  Surf Champ is the 4 player version of Surfer, so if you download that video too, you are going to find that they look really similar.

    Ok, so I will admit this one got away from me a little.  I read that the art for this machine was inspired by Alphaville, a 1965 sci-fi/mystery movie directed by Jean-Luc Godard, so I created a 15-second loading video homage to the movie based on the art from the machine's backglass and playfield.  Unfortunately, this version of the video doesn't work very well on my cabinet, because the game loads too fast. 
     
    The tone of the video is also a little weird and stilted for a pinball machine.  There's probably a reason that French New Wave Cinema didn't have a lasting impact on pinball machines.
     
    So I recommend that most people download the version marked "short" as it will probably fit the intended purpose better most of the time.  It maintains some of the rhythm of the longer version, but gets to the title screen quicker.
     
    The audio in the long version is extracted from a scene in the movie.  If you are interested in seeing the whole scene, search for "Alphaville - What is Love?" on YouTube.

    This video is built with the game's flyer and little bits of video I extracted from various YouTube videos demonstrating the game.  The music is "Buckaroo" by Norm Kass and Chet Atkins.  And yes, that is a Wilhelm Scream at the end.  On my cabinet, the game loads fast enough that the video disappears before the end and the scream plays right as the playfield appears.  It's a nice effect.

    This is a simple loading video I made for PIN-BOT, using the stenciling from the side of the original cabinet.  The DMD video is 1024x256, which is the smallest 4:1 ratio video you can make with Resolve.  However, it looks pretty good on my PinDMD.  The "Williams Presents" part of the DMD video is copied from the colorized version of Indiana Jones - The Pinball Adventure, and the PIN-BOT logo is based on the title screen from the NES PIN-BOT video game.  It's a great low-res logo.

    The video clip is from (obviously) Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.  But you get Kenneth Branagh doing some sweaty, muscle-ly overacting and Robert DeNiro rising from the slightly stupefied dead in only 15 seconds.  What more could you ask for? 
     
    The DMD video is in 1024x256, which is the smallest 4:1 video you can output from Resolve.  It looks pretty good on my PinDMD (although the readability of the words "Mary Shelley's" is pretty low.  It's got lightning strikes, though, so that makes up for it!
