Thanks for the reply. Yea I have that one and  that one continues to work with no errors. I got the CCC-Proc one to work somewhat I believe. I did this here and it now comes up and was playable. No b2s or dmd but will work on that later.

did you ever figure out the issue with 10.7

ok, try my table/backglass. This works 100% so if it doesn't, its a problem with your scripts or something on your machine.

You can flip between p-roc and regular by changing the PROC variable. but try it our of the box before changing anything. its set for p-roc at launch.

can i try your CCC table please

Outhere,

Thanks for pointing me to this. I dont see any mention of DMD in my file shown below. Am I in the right place?

Currently, The P-ROC DMD is on the correct monitor. I just need to enlarge it and move it more to the center of the monitor if that helps. What next?

Thanks.

Look for "Color Display Pixel Size: 4, Color Display X Offset: 4, Color Display Y Offset: 4" Those are the settings to adjust. Takes some trial and error.

These are settings that are also available in the in-game operator menu but I still think it would be faster just to edit the yaml file.

Thanks Carney,

Worked like a charm.

I have a real CCRLE and I would love to see a lot of the content from Continued in the new code that will hopefully come out some time next year. Doubt it though.

Well, I wasn't aware what was changed in the remake version. Just briefly looking around, it doesn't appear that epthegeek is getting any credit which is a shame. He did a great job on Continued I think.

In my case it NEEDS the pup pack so the dmd has something to sit on (the topper). Make sure the topper is sized in pinupplayer.ini big enough for the p-roc dmd

I can't answer for VR, specifically. For Cabinet/Desktop DMD location is set in the in-game operator menu. Outside of the game, it can be changed in user_settings.yaml. See a few posts above.

Hey the DMD has gone missing. I can alt/tab and it appears there, but not on the backbox monitor. It might be off the screen. Is there a way to rest the position of the DMD?

Thanks.

*SOLVED* see EDITS below

Been a while since any new posts here so hopefully this will get seen :) Help! All of a sudden none of the p-roc games I have will put a ball in play. They all startup fine, hit 1 to start and the flippers turn on but no ball in play. I've tried everything and can't think of anything that would cause this except maybe vpx updates as I always update the scripts folder every time I update vpx.  I have tried every version of vpx I do have back to 10.7.2 32 bit. Same, Always starts but no ball.

The log shows absolutely normal. I finally ran the uninstall.bat rebooted and ran @CarnyPriest 3.4 installer again and everything installed perfectly, no hiccups at all. I'm completely at a loss as to what is preventing a ball being kicked out. One thing I do wonder as well is whether the train self tests in p-roc or not- it's not now at least. I've run both TTNZ and vpw's table, same.

Happy to hear any thoughts!

EDIT UPDATE

Ok on a hunch I rolled back the scripts folder to a version from January 15 2024, now the ball kicks out and all p-roc games play as they should. I'm going to ASSume it's the core.vbs at fault but not 100% sure. If so I will make an issue on vpx github

EDIT UPDATE REDUX

Yep. It's the core.vbs alone. Reported as an issue on github

I'm just not playing p-roc games for now. No point sacrificing the advances in all other tables by keeping a January/February version of core.vbs. We just have to be patient.

Good thing you reported it to the github! 👏 Hopefully it will be fixed in upcoming versions. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction of what the error was. I restored my core.vbs from "VPinballX_GL-10.8.0-1889" and got it working. Just curious, what other p-roc games are there compatible with VPX?

all of them. But honestly only CCC is any good. The rest are a bit crude. Gremlins seems ok, Evil Dead ok

I did a quite dirty but successful workaround until this is fixed in the latest vpx to keep up to date with daily vpx and still be able to play CCC P-ROC.
Downloaded VPinballX_GL-10.8.0-1904-c6a24e2-Release-win-x64.zip (latest working vpx with p-roc) and extracted it to a new folder called "CCC" in C:\vPinball\.
Then I just created a new emulator in Popper named CCC and put all the settings the same as in "Visual Pinball X" emulator except for the "Launch EXE Folder", there I inserted "C:\vPinball\CCC".

Then added my Cactus Canyon Contiued.vpx game with the new emulator.

Probably is a better workaround but this is working for now.

I did almost the same thing, I added the older core.vbs file that works to the scripts folder and named it CCCcore.vbs, I then changed the name of the new core.vbs to goodcore.vbs. I created a new emulator in Popper called P-ROC and mirrored all the settings from VPX, except for in the launch script I added

cd /d "C:\vPinball\VisualPinball\Scripts\"
copy /y ccccore.vbs core.vbs

and in the closing script I added

cd /d "C:\vPinball\VisualPinball\Scripts\"
copy /y goodcore.vbs core.vbs

So what it does is when I start a P-ROC game it copies the older working core.vbs to the scripts folder and when the game closes it copies the newer core.vbs back to the scripts folder. It works perfectly.
