emgroom Posted May 24, 2025 Posted May 24, 2025 Hi, I'm getting a VBScript error stating Gamequicksic not found, however, I did download and place the freeplay rom into the roms folder. I've also removed the other roms and still same error. THen when i F3 to reset it comes back with line 1: game name not found and highlights the first line which is not any kind of code. unsure what to do if anyone has in insight. Thanks!!
emgroom Posted May 24, 2025 Posted May 24, 2025 NVM. I just changed the script to use quicksil and it’s running now.
lamerUSPHS Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Thank you emgroom! I was having the same problem. Had an older version that played fine but got an error when I tried to start this one. Had to go to Table -> unlock to allow me to edit the script then changed 'quicksic' to 'quicksil' (I have the quicksil rom) on line 95 - saved, and it works great. And looks amazing too!! Thank you!
Duracuir62 Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 (edited) The SSF isnt set correctly on my cab (only for this table). lots of sounds that must be played left are played right (example : left flipper sound is played right). Already tried with stereo in F1 menu Edited May 25, 2025 by Duracuir62
Tedcomun Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 hi, thanls for this table. I had modify at line 95 the script and it works. But when the ball is moving fast, I have ghost ball behind it....is it normal? Merci d'avance

Thank you! wouldn't it have been easier to just change the rom name from quicksil to quicksic? Much faster than editing the table script.
digitalarts Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 (edited) Never ever rename a vpinmame rom in Roms folder. Edited May 25, 2025 by digitalarts
machineboy Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 I'm having the same issue. I've both roms in the roms folder, but any time I try to run the game from VPX (10.0.8 Beta Rev 1975) I get the Gamequicksic not found. I've also changed the script to quicksil version, but the same error occurs. Strange, I don't think I've ever encountered this error before.

Odd that the quoted reply is in a different language. But yes! I did exactly this and it’s running perfectly fine now. Thank you.
Jammit Posted May 27, 2025 Posted May 27, 2025 But why does the quicksic rom work for some and not for others?...
Duracuir62 Posted May 28, 2025 Posted May 28, 2025 (edited) The rolling ball sound only plays on my SSF V2 right-front exciter . I have no problem with other tables and even with older version of Quicksilver . Any Idea ? Edited May 29, 2025 by Duracuir62

TR2N Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 (edited) Hi guys. I am trying to remove the siderails from this table (as on my other tables). Often there is a function in the script to do this (or better a table option), and in the worst case i have to disable (uncheck visuability) the particular object in the editor. Now the rails are baked into the Blender 3D objekt. Has someone already did that or can give me a idea how i can disassemble the rails from the rest inside Blender? I have asked ChatGPT but it does not work that way.. 😅 Edited June 13, 2025 by TR2N
Duracuir62 Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Still no idea about SSF sound only in 1 exciter (only for this table) ?
Duracuir62 Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I finally found the problem by myself , there is a comment that must be deleted in the script : search for : 'tmp = tableobj.y * 2 / tableheight - 1 and delete the ' for comment same with 'tmp = tableobj.x * 2 / tablewidth - 1 This 2 entry musnt be commended with '
