Amazing table - however when I go to enable GLF Virtual Segment DMD, the game freezes and I cannot save the config. Is there a way to enable within the script?

 

Update - I was able to address this issue. Just needed FlexDMD dlls re-registered.

Great table, small issue that I am having. I have the alphanumeric DMD enabled, but its orange text. Since this is an original table F1 doesn't show me DMD settings. How do i change the text color for the DMD? Thanks again

Amazing table!!!! I do get a lot of stuttering during multiball and not sure how I can get around it. All the settings on my VPX are turned down. i7 8700k CPU and 3070ti GPU. Any recommendations on what I can try next?

@Genesis38 did you follow all performance tips in the table description? Switching from Frame pacing to Vsync made the biggest difference on this table for me.

Hey all,

 

I can't start playing this table.  I get the following message when I press on my start button: Tournament file export requires a valid DMD script connection to PinMame via 'UseVPM(Colored)DMD = True'

 

I have the VPX 10.8 official release installed

Turned on the "GLF Virtual Segment DMD" option in the Tweak Menu and pressed on my start button to save the options (I can see the ini file having been created in the table folder location

 

I also added in my DmdDevice.ini file the following code:

[darkchaos]
virtualdmd enabled = false
alphanumeric enabled = true

 

What am I missing?  First table that gives me this message.  The alphanumeric DMD is working fine.

 

Update: It somehow started working fine.  Not sure what fixed it.

Can you explain what you mean by this instruction?  None of my solenoids or contactors are working either.

Yes, I updated them just after downloading this table.  I even searched for Dark Chaos on the DOF site to make sure it was included.  I just need to click "Generate Config" after I've signed in and then paste those three files to my vPinball/DirectOutput folder correct?

Ya, they seem to work fine on all my other tables.  To be clear, those three files I provided a screenshot of above are the three I'm given when I click Generate Config on the DOF Config Tool website.  Are you saying the config zip file they provide me from the website is missing an INI file as well?

Yes
On the dof website did when you created your account did you select the type of Hardware you're using for dof?

Hmm, I don't recall specifying my hardware at the time.  How do I do that on that website?

Ok, so if I pick my controller board, do I select 1?  I don't see any other options to add other devices from there, what do I do next?

After you pick your hardware and I believe then you hit update then you need to go to Port assignments and assign the correct ports however your system is wired

Dark Chaos what an incredible table Love it! .. for some reason the DMD will not show up on my 3rd screen.  The original version worked but I can t seem to get it to show up.  Any ideas on why?

If your third screen is a real DMD the setting is an F12 otherwise I can't imagine why it's not showing up since it showed up with the previous release

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to you for all your help.  Your instructions not only helped me to get this table working, but also fixed the issues I was having with Jokerz! and Cyclone tables causing my beacons to run nonstop.  Thanks for being so responsive and patient as I worked through all these random issues!  This community here at VPUniverse is amazing.
