Harlem Globetrotters on Tour (Bally 1979) VPW

Get ready for a world tour with the one and only Harlem Globetrotters!

 

Inspired by his love of playing this game in league play, mcarter78 decided to take Mikcab’s mod of the JPSalas original through the blender toolkit and returned with this beauty. Rebuilt from the rim to the floor, this brutal but fun early Bally solid state offers all the challenge and reward of the era. Aside from the updated graphics (playfield from Clark Kent, cabinet art from DaRdog), animations (apophis), and physics, you’ll also find a new VR room where you can play on the streets of New York like an aspiring Globetrotter. Thanks to everyone who helped this one along the way! Enjoy!

theres nothing more frustrating than getting an extra ball but not getting the extra ball...do we need a different rom? it does not register for me 😞

Launch the game and hit F6 to adjust your game settings.

for some reason the b2s doesn't load for me. its named correctly and downloaded from the b2s link. I have both ROMs mentioned. table loads fine. any ideas?

are you running cabinet or desktop? Are you running vpx GL or DX? Is the b2s running in the background when you alt-tab? If so alt tab to it so it's forward, then right click on it and in settings make sure Bring Forms To is set to front.

I meant to edit that right after, because I know no one here really knows me that well or knows that I have a pretty good grasp on what im doing, and sometimes I leave those basic details out, that alot of noobs wouldnt think to check, do, or mention.

Cabinet, I tried DX and GL, and no Alt-tab, thats usually first thing I check. 
 

At any rate, today it loads up, and I didnt even do anything except put the PC to sleep last night and this morning wake it up as soon as I got home from work.

It would be nice to be able to access the script... I never had one greyed out before

All VPW tables over the last couple years come locked but it's as easy as opening the table in edit mode, go to edit and click the lock toggle to unlock.

excellent, good to know, thanks. I still use physical nudge buttons for now, and like all my tables 90 and 270 to 4, and center nudge to 5. I think its the perfect amount
