I recently discovered DragonBall Abridged, a passion project that four people poured their hearts into.  Well that inspired me... not just to make a DragonBall table, but to make something AWESOME.  (Too many people in this world half ass through life.  There are too many bad mods out there... here I whipped this together in a few hours.  Well, that's not my style, if you're going to do it, do it right.)  AND WITH THAT, I present MY passion project!  This table has 180 sound clips pulled from various Dragon ball shows, 24 songs all triggered by different events, 4 Super Saiyan Goku transformations both on the playfield and backglass that are linked to multiballs (watch out for his final two forms, they are pretty NUTS!), 6 other non-Goku playfield transformations that get triggered during other events (power aura's, death halos, etc), 6 desktop backgrounds to choose from, options for an alternate ball and attract song, AND a fricken Kamemameha blast!  Phew.  Art and characters has been pulled from across the DB universe!  So I hope every DBZ fan enjoys it!!!

 

This table was created by @jpsalasand me.  JP you're a wonderful person, a true VPX guru, thanks for everything!  Please DON'T STOP being awesome.  :) Special thanks to T-800 (Scott Gullicks - Riot Pinball) for the starting blocks of a great table.  Thanks to @RusstyT for playfield overlay help back in the day.  Thanks for @Cliffy for testing and @hauntfreaks for the v1.0 backglass.  Thanks for DOF coding and a AWESOME pup pack @JoeD.  Thanks to @oly2 for the 3d Saiyan pod. Thanks to @SuperTilted and anyone who's left positive reviews/likes/comments on my previous works.  You are the reason I'm a content creator.  Thanks for motivate me to do more.  I hope everyone enjoys!

Updating from v1.0 or 1.3.3  PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE NEWEST BACKGLASS AND REPLACE THE ORIGINAL.  IT NOW HAS TRANSFORMATIONS THAT TIE TO THE TABLE MULTIBALL.  Checkout the tweak menu (usually f12) for table options!

A little while back @Rubiboy modded my table.  I had a chance to play it, and I think he had a good idea.  He changed quite a few sounds and it really sounded like a battle.  It sounded like Dragon Ball.  So he inspired me to make version 1.3.  I added 60 additional sound clips and now when you start a battle or training, the table sounds change.  You now have kicks, punches, explosions, etc.  Welcome to Dragon Ball Super Saiyan Edition!  Enjoy.

 

NOTE:  make sure to download the media pack as it now includes instruction cards, loading video and a new backglass with animation changes (new as of v1.2)!

Table plays amazing and has some awesome effects and animations that really live up to the DBZ vibe.  The different forms, a halo when each boss is beaten, the voice lines from Abridged.  A+  Some of the AI images are something I dislike, but that's a personal preference, the overall table is great.

Trunks is a drawing.  You are probably correct on Vegeta, it looks AI.  IMO all the others are captures from the shows.  I hand picked my images from the internet, nothing was fed into an AI generator.  You are welcome to remix with other images.

Great table to make POPUP

No new version was uploaded, and others brought this up to my attention.  I was just rebranding my table as an "Original 2025" and added tags that were missing from my original post.  This was clearly noted, I even stating no files were changed.  My intention was not to "popup" my table, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW, "editing details" would do this.  I've spoke to an admin and this needs to be changed!  Plain and simple, editing details should not BUMP a table to the top of the download list.  Uploading a new version SHOULD, but just to reword something, heck no.   I'm sorry that this small change to the title moved my table, but honestly...  If you are making a review and docking me a star because of this, shame on you.  You should be reaching out to admins to get this BUG fixed!  Now go find better things to do rather than being overly critical of how the site works.

Really unfortunate that there is no DOF for it. I would play this on my cabinet all day long!

dinguerie.. les multiball sont top... graphiquement assez soft et je le boost avec reshade (mxao, rtgi...bloom  hdr...ca le rend encore plus reel dans pincab)

Surement la plus belle table sur DBZ !

 

Mais vu que je suis un ancien et que ce dessin animé a marqué et bercé mes jeunes années, ma préférence va pour DBZ, notamment grâce à ses musiques inoubliables. ( même si, j'ai aimé une ou deux musiques de Dragon Ball Super )

This table looks, plays, and sounds Amazing! Its very fun to play.

I know this had to be a whole lot of hours creating this. Hopefully someone will create the DOF for it soon.

I'm amazed at ALL of the lights and the lighting of the playfield. Love the mini playfield and flippers on top. Well Done!

Great table! With the adrenaline pumping music, fast ball speed, and special effects (like the lightning) - it is a fun and intense playing table! When it first loaded up, I thought the DMD said Cheese and Salsa (sorry JP), but the collaboration of design, gameplay, and artwork on the table are top notch. Thank you!
