Rise through the ranks of the Astral Allegiance Corps from Space Cadet to Fleet Admiral! A whole new spin on a classic introduces a brand new story, new characters, voice acting, and more!

Tested using VPX 10.8 RC 7 (Open GL and DX) and Pinup Player 1.5. May work on other versions, but no guarantee. 

SSF Users
If the table sound effects are just WAY too intense, try one of two options.
1. In the Table Options Menu, Page 4, drop the "Table Sounds" down to maybe 50%. Save and restart the table. If that isn't satisfactory than...
2. Go into Sound Manager, highlight all sounds that start with "SC_" hit "Toggle BG Out," then "OK"

For some reason, these sound effects have always been very "tinny" set to backglass with my surround sound set-up. Moving them to the table made them sound AMAZING on my system, but everyone has a different set-up!
I've considered remixing the balance for these sound effects in Adobe Audition, but wanted to get more feedback first.  Leave a comment, if you have any suggestions that might help!

Special thanks to JPSalas for letting me create this version. Space Cadet has always been one of my favorites. Hope you enjoy!

Fixes/Revisions:
- Multiplayer highscore entry should be fixed.
- Additional and revised DOF commands by VPCLE
- Embedded PuPDMD player and ball labels. 
- Total players displayed in PuPDMD
- More LUTs added.
- Taller sideblades for cabinet mode (Thanks Cl4ve)
- Moved Attract song to the table for easier control of muting (for streaming purposes)
- Misc. minor gameplay tweaks (Hopefully that right outlane is just a tiny bit more forgiving now)

WELL DONE!!!

Thank you for bringing me back great memories from Windows XP Space Cadet. The Pinball is fantastic!! It runs 100% on VPX  with the Puppacks!!! I can turn my screen 90 degrees Clockwise and play it as a cabinet. But not well with the Pinup Popper to which I'm not worried. I have a Gaming PC, not a Virtual Pinball Cabinet. *REVISED: I picked the wrong Space Cadet Table for the Pinup Popper. That was my fault on my Part. I found the correct Space Cadet and it works Flawlessly on the Pinup Popper!!! Thanks again for updating this Pinball I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

This table looks and feels fantastic.

On my cab the pub pack crashes a lot at random times but usually after about 20s.

Anyone have an advice on what to look after to fix this?

Gameplay and graphics could easily be one of the top 5 tables this year.

Truly unbelievable game play. This reimagined version is beyond fantastic. Gameplay is fast, which I like, and the sound tweaks and artwork go beyond my expectations. This put some life back in my vpin!

Id write more but my hands are so tired from playing this game I need to give them a rest. 

5 stars for every aspect of this game.

This is so good. I already love playing the original version (and still will) but this just takes it to the next level. I just upgraded from a dmd to a 3rd lcd screen and this is a great game to justify the swap.

I am to say the very least, IMPRESSED ! Such a great update to an already fun  table.  One question, When I run this, how do I get my  DMD screen to show scores as opposed to being blank ?  Is there an updated b2s ? I cannot find one anywhere.

 

I did download the Pupack.  I have a 3 screen setup. The  screen that usually shows the score is blank when I choose option 1 or 2.

Hey, if you haven't downloaded the PuP Pack (link in the description), Please do so! It is the heart of this mod. Trust me, you won't regret it. 

I did "disable" FlexDMD for this as initially it was causing a performance hit while having that and the PuPDMD on at the same time and it seemed redundant with PuPDMD displaying the same information. 

However, in my latest revision (1.1 coming out soon) I think I have that resolved. I still prefer those with 3-screen 16:9 setups with a 4:1 DMD to just opt for Option 2 and keep the 4:1 display blank, BUT you should be able to change the FlexDMD to true in the script, if you really want it.

As far as B2S. I do have them, but the PuP Pack does have backglasses built in, so you shouldn't need them. That's why I didn't include them. If there is a reason to still use B2S in addition to the PuP Pack, let me know.
