Released

Mainly a VR update:
Apologies for another update so soon 😊 obv got a bit careless with this one.

- VR backglass should be a better fit
- VR backglass lamps should now function
- Blacked out the top wood texture from the outer walls so the texture doesn't show when hiding rails in DT/Cab

Zaccaria often gets overlooked compared to its bigger brothers, but through efforts like this I’m learning that they did produce some beautiful tables.

You’ve really knocked it out of the park with the work you’ve done and shed light on tables I’d never really thought about or considered playing. They have now become essential in my cab.

Well done!

It's so great to see the VPU community alive and well these days, maybe more than ever! I love seeing new creators take a stab at creating new tables or modding/updating old ones. I can't believe the quality however of the newer authors releases! It just shows how great and collaborative of a community we have here. With a lot of VPX veterans that have fine tuned their skills into almost perfection. With SSF, nFozzy, Fleep, VLM, Blender Toolkit, G-Sound, Serum, etc. we truly are in a new era for virtual pinball! Just seeing how far its all come in the 3 years since I discovered my new favorite hobby and passion is unbelievable.

I'm eternally grateful to you RetroRitchie, VPW, Bord, Roth, JP, Hauntsfreaks, and soo many others for taking the time to bring countless pinball tables into reality and then freely release it to the masses. This whole hobby truly is dependent on all of you talented creators, from long ago veterans to everyone involved today. You have my eternal gratitude and appreciation! So thank you!

I just felt the need to write this after playing this table and then thinking about how incredible the quality of tables has been lately, from basically everyone! THIS is virtual pinball. Not Zen Pinball, Pinball FX, Pinball Arcade, etc. At this point in time, in my opinion, the competitors for virtual pinball don't even mildly compare to VPX and this community. In every way possible, VPX is leaps and bounds better than any other company, which also charge money to play their tables. The modern physics, sounds, SSF, DOF, VLM and blender next gen graphics with ray tracing and all modern GPU benefits, are all far ahead now than the closest competitor pinball FX IMO. Especially if you have an RTX GPU and beefy PC, with a fully decked out virtual pinball cabinet with all the possible DOF toys, solenoids, SSF, and an insane amount of addressable LEDs, as I am fortunate enough to have. It's truly mind-blowing and unlike anything else I have experienced in my life with any hobby, form of entertainment, or game. I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone that is interested in taking the leap, or hesitant too. Believe me, it is worth every penny and IMO is the only way to truly experience everything that this amazing hobby has to offer. There is so much work put into various areas of table design by the authors that you can only experience if you have a cabinet, SSF, DOF, etc. And the cabinet POV is everything, I honestly couldn't play it any other way after building my cabinet. Every friend or family member who has seen/played on my cabinet has just been awestruck with everything and at a loss for words at just how insane and awesome it all is. And again, so different and unlike any other form of entertainment out there. There is for sure a certain skill set and level of computer knowledge required to even experience this hobby properly. And a shit ton more experience needed if you want to go all in and build a cabinet. But I love a good challenge and learning new things. After 1.5 years from the start of ordering parts for the cabinet, to the finished cabinet with everything DOF related working and lots of tables added and tested, it was fun and like christmas every day! I learned so much about various skills, and a lot about electricity while building mine that is great knowledge to have in general for life! And the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction of finally finishing it and getting everything working correctly.. never experienced anything quite like it.. speechless. Then, that's when the REAL fun begins! B)

Keep up the fantastic work you're doing RetroRitchie and team!

PS - If I could suggest a future table for you to do.. and keeping with Zaccaria as well if that is something you are doing intentionally. I would LOVE to see Time Machine by Zaccaria get a similar VLM/nFozzy makeover. It would be really interesting to see the results with VLM added. That unique circular area of the playfield in the back that completely lowers and raises, I can only imagine how beautiful the lighting would look around that. I also can't imagine the work required to correctly add VLM to this table with that feature alone!  😅

I've never been a fan of Zaccaria pinball, not sure why, they're no different than anything else coming out at the time.  But playing your Zaccaria recreations is super fun.  I don't know how you do it, but I love the transparency effect on the plastics, the animations of the spinners (not on this but other ones) and the lighting is superb.  Honestly, it makes it look hyper realistic.  In VR at high resolution and a smooth framerate it feels like you are there.  Really wicked stuff!  Your tables are fricking amazing.  Thanks

Fantastic update !

thank you

When I first saw this I thought it was the band Earth, Wind and Fire and hoped it wasn't just another bland band table. To my surprise, it's not :) and it's right up my alley, an 80s table with easier rule set that looks, plays and feels fantastic. Thanks!!
