An updated table and pup-pack have been uploaded.
Now when a high score is reached the high score video will play instead of the game over video.
The game over video only plays when the game is actually over.
However, if you reach a high score after the last ball has drained then the high score video will play instead of the game over video.
The high score video now uses the backglass as a window rather than playing in full screen.
Star Tours theme music would stop playing when a high score was reached. This has been corrected so the music continues to play until a ball is lost.
Made minor adjustments to the small screen (the one with RX-24 and R2-D2) size and location on the two screen version.
Exclusively uses Cliffy’s files for the desktop version. Thanks Cliffy! No more guesswork to make the desktop version work. The “Option 3 – Desktop.bat” file will copy all necessary files into the Star_Tours root folder and you only need to manually copy the “Star Tours.directb2s” and Cliffy’s “Star Tours.res” to your Tables folder.
Removed all scoring and other data from the desktop backdrop. Thanks to Cliffy none of it is needed and it looks much cleaner and less busy.
Updated the “read me.txt” and the “adjust number of balls per game.txt” files. The latter now includes how to quickly and simply clear high scores. (Okay, just press 6 while in attract mode and then close and restart the table.)
Extensive testing was done on all three versions, but that doesn’t guarantee everything works perfectly. You all know how difficult it is to play the game, watch what’s happening on the screens and verify triggers are properly work all at the same time. Issues? Let me know.
