I've got pup working on both 32 and 64 bit now, and was trying to spot a difference between the two. It all looks the same to me. Slow-mo vids of chicks running along the beach. And the Hoff. @lucky1 I need more info than "some pups aren't triggered". Can you please get your testers in here so they can help me reproduce and fix?

Did you test with the baywatch vni colorization and the plugin active ?

I'm happy to help, @freezy I provided @lucky1 with a slew of tests with all formats and with all available dll's and plugins, 32 and 64 bit. I run desktop mode only, windowed full screen. The 64 bit dll,s seem to trigger pup packs fine with all formats- pal/vni, pal/fsq (lucky only), pac and cRZ. The problem seems to be the 32 bit dll. This morning I video captured g5k's The Addams Family 2.3.2 with the movie version pup pack. This pup pack will immediately let you know if it's going to work properly or not. When working properly it will start with the movie preview even before coin-up. If it doesn't start with the preview I know it will not trigger by pup captures and only by switches, ie, ball drain and launch. The 32 bit dmddevice dll's are dated 5/25/2023 ver 2.1.3.0 and 7/24/2023 ver 2.2.0.0 2.1.3.0 works flawlessly. 2.2.0.0 does not. I also recorded at 25fps to save space so may look less than smooth. A final note here; I did try using ball control on the non-triggering 7/24 dll and when using ball control every pup video triggers. This is not representative of actual game play, however. I hope this helps and happy to provide any other detailed info you may require.

When you test, do you always have colorizations enabled through the plugin? If so, I assume that you got a 64-bit plugin from @lucky1? And if that's the case, did you test PAL/VNI, or PAC?

If you see the logo only then it's NOT working. The shorter video I posted shows the movie trailer starting immediately on startup and plays the entire trailer until a game is started

I tested ONLY pal/vni and yes the 64 bit plugin is Luckys. HOWEVER- Important note here; I disabled the standalone pin2color.dll's for this test. And I ONLY tested the 32 bit dmddevice.dll's as stated in the original post. One dated 5/25 and the other 7/24

If it starts with the house and lightning it's not going to trigger. hold a minute. let me put it on my drive.... oh and will you be testing desktop? I can include my pinupplayer.ini too so it's setup as you see in my vids

Maybe next time, having testers reporting to me directly instead of Chinese Telephone would help getting the correct info in the first place. @NailBuster Any idea why Pup needs duplicated frames? I'll send you a build with and without de-duping enabled, so you can repro.

Oh and of course make sure you have nailbusters 64 bit pup dll plugin installed correctly too workingdlls.zip
freezy Posted August 9, 2023 Author Posted August 9, 2023 From this zip, 32-bit works (it's 2.1.3 which doesn't de-dupe), 64-bit (which is a 2.2.0 build and de-dupes) doesn't. For me, at least. I'll check with @NailBuster what's going on. In any case, thanks a lot for your help, very appreciated!
