[New VP10 Hybrid Alert] Simpsons Pinball Party (Stern 2003) VPW Mod

This table is beyond beautiful and the game sounds are amazing. I just cant seem to get the music effects to play at all. 

Could anyone direct me on where I might need to look

Have you turned up the ROM sound with the 8 & 9 keys?

 

There is also an Altsound available

I did try the 8 and 9 keys without success. Changing these setting did change the volume but didn't fix the issue. I am fairly new to this hobby so I'm unsure. What do I do with the Altsound file once I've downloaded it?

Hey all.  I've got a problem with the washed out, yellow incandescent bulb lighting that's been brought up before in the comments.    I dont think it was ever addressed by that poster and I'm driving myself crazy trying to fix it myself.  I've went through the script line by line, tried every version of vpx, looked through all the vpx gui settings - and I can't find a way to make it a more vibrant color.  I also recall LUT being brought up but I can't get anything like to pull up and the magsave doesn't offer anything. 

 

I love the color scheme of the Simpsons Pinball Party (Stern 2003)2.1 by bigus.  Am I missing something obvious on getting this table looking different?

Correct.  That's the convo I referenced that you gave some good advice on.  I've tried the 1.0 as well.  I was hoping I was overlooking something simple like LUT or a script line (looking for more than the nuclear, bumpers).  I'm not up to backporting any fixes.  Which is fine, this table is still great and really fun to play despite my own personal table lightning and color preference...  nothing more than a "me problem."

First off a huge THANK YOU for giving us this table. Stellar work

 

Quick question for you guys as I'm wondering if its just me.

I play in VR only and the table runs great.

But...Bart and Comic Book guy in the VR Room have no color. They are just white shapes.

All other characters (Homer, Marge, Maggie, etc...) are fine.

 

Does anyone else have this ?

Did you ever get a fix for this? I really really want to play it with the correct to real life colours on the playfield inserts.

VPW: There is a display bug on the garage door when playing with VPX 10.8.  When the door is closed, the texture is fine.  When the door is opened, it's completely black.  This is happening on both my main pc and cab running VPX 10.8.  In VPX 10.7 the door is dark when opened but the texture is visible.

I have exactly the same problem of you

-> Push START > OK

-> Ball appears and ready to launch, but impossible to use plunger or fire button or Left or Right flip to launch it.

Have you a solution since your post?
