Running latest Win 10 on desktop If your intention is to use backglass (B2S Server) also, then you must use x86 (32 bit) version of VPX 'cause there is no a B2S x64 version so it will not work with Visual Pinball 10.7 x64.
Guest fuzzel Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 rev225 is up (Release Cadidate): - fix crashing when user hit ESC on buttons, sliders or edit controls - fix various issues with the video/display resolution selection (and deobfuscate all the code) - fix long search names in script editor - fix crash on exit - fix showing properties of the selected item when switching between tables - update to latest BASS 2.4.16 - fix sorting by memory usage in image manager - fix crash when clicking on layers directly on startup
Cadorna Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Will be resolved the problem with the 3Dstereo and the alternative depth buffer compatibility before the final release?
Guest fuzzel Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 rev249 is up (Release Cadidate): - added `Primitive` type to `Light Sequencer` (dynamic and static) - fix bug with clicking an empty layer not selecting it internally - add flashers to light sequence - added flashers to light sequencer collection. - make debug dialog (and its text edit) resizable and remove the expand button - F2 starts renaming of layer items - when setting up the defaults for low- or high-end PCs in the video preferences via the respective buttons, ignore settings that do not influence performance like display, FS mode, etc - fix crash when importing older .vpp files in the physics import and import min & max slope, too, when importing a .vpp file directly in a table

Afaik there is no way to fix this...but Toxie is the expert in this 3Dstereo thing. Maybe you should contact him about this...
VPDDouche Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 Hello tables that opened in previous release are now crashing with this version
VPinWorkshop Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 @fuzzel I'm sure you're away of this, but script search is currently broken
Ecktown Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 I have a problem with the sound. The sound effects break the music/sound from the ROM. It is only playable if I turn off sound effects completely. This is the only table I had this problem with. The problem is there with 10.6 and 10.7...
BeachBumTN Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 I was using an earlier version and had only one table out of hundreds that did not work. I updated to the most recent version based on JPs recommendation after sound issues on Deadpool. Now my Apollo 13 crashes on start. I will check logs and test more but may have to use Pinup’s alt version to run A13 on an earlier release. I do love 10.7 and appreciate the efforts and improvements.

BeachBumTN Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 Thanks outhere, I did grab JPs updated version today. I still wanted to report Apollo 13 crash on 249 release to see if anyone else encountered issues. I may try a few more tables before reverting. As mentioned, an earlier version of 10.7 worked flawlessly for dozens of tables. Great to see the continued efforts of fuzzel and all the other talented folks who continue to improve our experience - much appreciated!

BeachBumTN Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 Thanks @outhere! I overlooked that post from Thalamus. Thanks for sharing, I appreciate your assistance.
BeachBumTN Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 @outhere, everything is working well now. The table that had been crashing on the 249 version plays beautifully now. Seriously, thanks for taking time to point me to v258.
Guest fuzzel Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 rev270 is up (Release Candidate): - fix copy/paste issue for properties and other dialogs - changed `SeqBlink` to accept a `TailLength` this fixes the sequencer getting stuck if value greater than 0 is sent. Any value higher than 0 will `Reverse`, where the lights will turn `off/on` instead of default `on/off`. - mouse cords display in converted units in separate status column, disabled by default with VP units (no conversion). - added lower case filtering to layers. added checkbox for users to toggle between case-sensitive filtering. - add GetInPlayState to the light element: if Light Sequencer is running, returns the current state set by the Light Sequencer - added tables to `File > New` menu. `strippedTable.vpx` and `lightSeqTable.vpx`, lightweight starter tables. - properly initialize new LS variable
hontis Posted July 18, 2021 Posted July 18, 2021 Hi. In 10.7 where abouts in the option to change the size, angle and position of the main playfield? Was pretty easy to locate in 10.6.
Thalamus Posted July 18, 2021 Posted July 18, 2021 Left of the play button. Please spend some time exploring instead of only playing. F5 to play and F6 to adjust works too -just like the old.

Thalamus Posted July 18, 2021 Posted July 18, 2021 What is mars attacks ? Is it Attack from Mars ? If so, please be more specific and provide a complete link to the table in question.
LunatechFringe Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 Is anyone else having problems with nudging using an accelerometer? I have the latest version of Zeb's plunger with the latest firmware. It was working before in older builds, but it doesn't seem to be working in this build. RESOLVED: Problem was related to NudgePlugIn.vbs. Removing it from the tables directory brought back nudging, and my tilt bob still works.
tobiashansson Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 (edited) When I start “cactus canyon “ I’ve get: script error line 50 error loadVBSfilea and script error line 178 “Controller” this funny game works before Edited July 20, 2021 by tobiashansson
BeachBumTN Posted July 20, 2021 Posted July 20, 2021 For those of you using Pinup Popper, are you finding much longer table load times with 10.7? I will try rev270 tonight but was just curious if the load times were only my configuration or others noticed this as well. Thanks and all of the work is appreciated.
Thalamus Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 If the load times goes up on 10.7, it has almost always been proved that it is related to something else you've got running. Teamviewer installed pr. example, other programs snooping the screen in one way or the other. There are a few discussion about it in the official beta thread, but, well - its a long read now Actually, it is expected that 10.7 loads faster. @LunatechFringe - explained what I believe is your "flawed resolve" above here : https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=27063&p=483104
BeachBumTN Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Thanks Thalamus. Yes, I saw that thread. No Teamviewer and very barebones dedicated to pinball. I will look and test further.
