You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out! (Shag 2024)
this is an unofficial celebration of the artist Shag and his christmas art
it is also loosely based on the movie "A Christmas Story" (some art and callouts)
this was originally Whoa Nellie by Allknowing and HauntFreaks (Me) built manny years ago
the layout has been modded to be more cohesive with the art

Credits:

VPX 10.8.0 RC4 or later: https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/releases/tag/v10.8.0-1975-051104c

B2S Server 2.1.2 or later (if B2S used): https://github.com/vpinball/b2s-backglass/releases/tag/v2.1.2   <---- this one is required for the b2s to run correctly

Unfortunately this table requires a patch for standalone (iOS, Android, macOS, Linux, ...)

Getting load errors when trying to launch it in popper. Any idea how to fix this?  Then it says file is corrupt and failed to load. Plays fine when launched in vpx.

The issue you're probably having is Popper doesn't play well with apostrophes and exclamation marks.

 

Delete the table name from popper.

Rename your table and backglass to something like "Youll Shoot Your Eye Out (Shag 2024)" or whatever, without the ' or !.

 

Re-add it to popper.

 

I suspect it will work.  I have this table as "YSYEO (Shag 2024)" and it plays fine launching from popper.

@UHATEIT please run the table... right click on the b2s while the table is running.... this way we can make sure your running the newest version of the b2s server

you are right and clicked the backglass and it says 2.0.3 and I have zero clue why it says that. I'm kind of affraid to update things if it breaks other working tables. But In my "tables" tolder I have a file that says B2s Server 2.1.2-win What should I click?

This was the same issue I had at first it was making an AE in place of the ' so when I changed it to Youll it fixed it. Odd as I have other tables with ' in the title that work.

Figured it out and got it working! I had a B2s exe in my tables that was v2.0.3 and then a folder in tables that had the 2.1.2 exe in it, I just drug it from the folder to the tables folder itself and overrode the v2.0.3 and how it tallies the ball #. All is well!

ok so this is what you do.... download the latest b2s server.... open the zip and drag these files to your tables folder and overwrite the existing files (see image)... these files will not change any setting on your setup all it will do is update to the new server...
after you do that... right click on B2SBackglassServerRegisterApp.exe file and pick run as administrator... follow the steps

Ah yes so I had a folder with all that updated stuff in it but not outside of that folder in the tables folder. As in, a folder in a folder. Once I drug it out then boom all was well. Maybe that will fix other backglass issues ive had on other tables. And I'll post solved in the comments too!

Sidenote for you thank you massively for that info on moving the 2.1.2 from the folder inside tables out and then into the tables folder itself, overriding 2.0.3 that I had. That actually fixed the backglass working for Die Hard Trilogy which is EPIC and I could not get the PUP on the backglass to work at all, now it works like a charm!

Merry Christmas! 
I downloaded this on December 17th and must have forgotten to install it back then as I discovered it in my downloads folder this morning. 
I installed it and wow….is this fun! I’ll have to say it put a real smile on my face and took me back to my youth during Christmas time. Thanks for that as I’m 70 now. I’ll have to say that I laughed out loud when I heard “the old man” yell…”sonsofbitches”….this is just great fun. Thanks for creating and sharing.😍
