About This File

Altsound -White Water (Reorchestrated)

This is an Altsound conversion of the White Water Reorchestrated Pinsound mix by itksgr

***************************************************************************

It's designed to sound like the original music, but with more modern sounds.

All music is remade. All sfx and voices remade by Oliver Carell.

Warren Davis who recorded the voice for Wet Willy in the 90's re-recorded all voices in this soundpack

Feel free to donate to the original author at https://paypal.me/StefanGranberg

What's New in Version 1.5.0   See changelog

Released

Altsound -White Water (Reorchestrated) 1.5.0

1.5.0  Updating some of my early altsounds to a new standard

  •     Each individual audio file has been normalized to -10LUFS-I
  •     New csv mixes

The overall effect should be a louder more balanced mix

LUFS is a perceived loudness measurement. This will help

users who don't have an external method for amplification.

Also may include some tweaks and fixes.

*I recommend backing up your original altsound by changing the name, then auditioning

this version to see if you prefer it. Once decided just keep the version that works best for you.

If using Pinvol make sure to turn it down before testing the new version

Notes:

-Altsounds are best enjoyed with external volume control ie: PinVol, Desktop Speakers
-Rom volume can effect the altsound volume to some degree
-You can control the volume of each individual sound in the .csv file included in the altsound folder.
-"Maxing Out" all the gain levels in the csv can have a negative effect on overall volume.

Think of the overall sound as a funnel. Only so much can flow. Maxing out levels in the .csv
file can cause audio dropouts and or distorted sounds. Best to keep a balanced mix in the csv
and use an external volume control such as Pinvol or Desktop speakers to boost the overall volume if needed.

This is hands down the best orchestrion for pinball ever done.  The fact that the original voice actor actually re-did his lines for this for $100 speaks volumes to that.  It's just fantastic how it kind of brings the game into a more modern era but keeps all the same great music that made the original game so great.  Amazing work on this.  To me, Whitewater has the best pinball music of all time, how it changes into something totally different at the end but still has the same vibe as the music that played when you started.

This has to be my favorite alt sound thus far.    The sound is now so soothing and enjoyable.  So crisp and clear as another said.   Quality is top notch.   It brings the whole table experience up to another level.  It's amazing what alt sounds (and alt colors) can do to a table.

I hope to see more from iDigStuff.  I am a fan.   I loved Batman too.

Big kudos to MrGrynch as well.

Thank you.
