K-POP Demon Hunters (Original 2026)

Based on Kiss (Bally 1979)

This table is a graphical mod/reskin of @UnclePaulie's absolutely fantastic Kiss (Bally 1979) table. All gameplay, physics, lighting and tweaks are based upon his top-notch work, without whom I'd never be able to create this work. Even his blender file was made available to me for reskinning the baked GI playfield lights. As it's intended for kids, the ball saver is on by default between the flippers, it can be toggled with the right magna-save key.

I've done a complete graphical reskinning of every piece of art on the table, as well as music, sound FX and glow FX.

I've repurposed much code from @HauntFreaks "Scooby-Doo! And Kiss" table, including the music selector, and table sound management.

Glowball code was modified from @VPW "Total Nucellar Annihilation", and the child friendly "Kid Mode" code was borrowed from @X13_Pinner "Daniel Tiger" works.

As a disclaimer, AI was heavily used for graphical modification, but please don't underestimate the massive amount of time and work that went into this.

I created this mod for my 5 year old twin daughters who asked why we don't have a K-POP demon hunter's table. They even recorded the intro that can be heard at table initialization.
Audrey and Elle, I love you!

This table requires BOTH the kisse.zip AND the kiss.zip ROMs to work.

My daughter love it, great work 👍, lightning, graphics,.... this excellent table deserves a Pup-pack.

Response from the author:

I had wanted to do a pup with the rest of the table but petered out a bit, maybe I'll get back to it once I have some more time, but anyone is free to create one if they'd like.

Glad your daughter liked it!

WOW!!  Amazing job on a mod of the Bally KISS table.   I am old, so K-Pop is not my thing, but this table is amazing.  The colors!!!    The glow of the ball!!  And it even leaves some of the AS-2518-61 aka "Squawk & Talk" board sound in there, which I have always loved from back in the day.

Thanks so much for creating this! My kids have been waiting for this one for so long... 😋

I've created a simple wheel to go with this table if anybody needs one:

Response from the author:

Thanks for making the wheel, I had no steam left for frontend media 😂

Wow... now that is a fantastic mod, thankyou. I'm way too old and the wrong demographic to be a fan of the show but I can greatly appreciate the work that went into this and it looks beautiful (I played in VR). It's far from being just a quick AI generated playfield and plastics, it's obvious a lot of effort was put into very careful placement of all the graphics. Sound and lighting also great, a couple of annoying sound effects but that's likely in keeping with the theme and I'm sure fans of the show will love it.

This could very easily be a realworld table customisation. Well done on your efforts, I'm sure your twins are over the moon.

Response from the author:

Thanks Gravy! The kiddos do love it despite the rather annoying soundfx 😂

Glad it looks good in VR, I don't have that setup so I just reskinned unclePaulies original VR room and hoped for the best
