*EDIT*

Thank you to everyone who took this in the spirit in which it was intended, you're all awesome ;)

This is actually a good example of a very early (v0.001) blueprint layout stage of one of our tables, everything is more or less in the correct place, but there's no graphics, sound or additional physics, and the ramps don't have the proper variations in height yet.

This table (Godzilla by Data East, not Stherrrn!) is probably a year away at this point (we don't work to timescales), but I thought it'd be funny, also take a closer look at the "screenshot" (aka photoshopped photo) for easter eggs,

Love and hugs,

Six.

It's awesome, you're awesome, awesome!

We spent ages working on this!

Enjoy!

VPW has hit another out of the park! This table runs amazing on my Win95 machine with a P100, 1mb video card, 2mb's of ram and a Sound Blaster audio card.  Just look at the superb graphics in my screenshot. You can't get better than this!

Another amazing release from VPW! I just had to upgrade to an RTX 420, put 69 GB of RAM in, shove a peanut butter sandwich in my plunger cylinder, and voila!

This is going straight into the Favorites without question.

In all seriousness, this is a good playing game of Godzilla. There's something unique about not being distracted by all of the flash lamps, artwork, toys, and anything else that would catch your eye and allows you to focus more on lining up and making the shots that matter. I propose, and I'm 100% serious here, that "practice" machines designed like this one, become a thing so you can learn the layout of the pin without being overwhelmed by all the shiny objects and then when you feel pretty confident you've learned the layout, move over the real deal. Well done VPW.

My favorite feature is how you can clearly see how many balls are left in the ball trough. Such a revolutionary idea!

I mean, at first I was upset that it was Foo Fighters...but then I checked this out and the table being released is one thing...being backwards compatible to my Mac Plus? WITH a built-in emulator that the Mac Plus understands? You guys are the smartest coders on Earth! Just...chef's kiss...

Wow!  They even included an Amiga version ADF. Finally, Pinball Dreams you can step aside, there's a new pinball champ on the Amiga.  Kind of hard to get used to playing pinball not in a cab but you can't have everything!

As for the main VPX version, it's alright but yet again, I have to sort out performance issues.  Should I be playing with VPX 10.7?  10.8?  Which Nvidia driver?  Settings?  Which Windows version?   Plus, I don't see DOF support out of the box.

What's up with that?!?

I always found the stern godzill a bit too colorful, but with the VPW-touch its  a complete different story! Love it, thanks for sharing your passion and work!

I don't even need to review this on my Arelyel Plays series to tell you how awesome of a table this is.

The Special Edition of Godzilla combines the awesomeness of the Stern Godzilla table along with some unique special features to make the game even more enjoyable than before.

You have the VPin treatment for graphics and physics, which is a given... the gold standard in the pinball industry.

VPW made a couple secret and unique toys and placed them on the table which you will not see in the original Godzilla table. I think they pay a great tribute to the Godzilla movies.

VPW added a hidden playfield magnet which randomly activates during multiballs for a couple seconds to add additional challenge to the game. If you love balls swinging around, you'll love this hidden feature.

The right scoop now fires the ball so hard that it slams into your left flipper and bounces up through the right ramp. So now you don't have to worry anymore if you're not able to make that right ramp shot; just let the scoop do the work for you.

They added a hidden hole in the lane behind the left upper flipper. If the ball falls into that hole, it falls through the playfield into the abyss, forcing you to restart your game and lose all your points. I think the original Godzilla table was way too easy, so with the addition of this hole, it's more difficult than any table I ever played to finish a game and place in the high scores.

Every 48 seconds or so, you will hear the orgasm-inducing sound of Godzilla's roar blast loudly through your speakers. Sure, you will go deaf for a few seconds when it happens, but nothing compares to that iconic sound that brings joy to everyone who hears it.

And I think the most noteworthy feature of all about this special edition, aside from it being so small it can be fit on a floppy drive, is the fact VPin Workshop was somehow able to develop an algorithm where you can hold a Stern Insider QR code up to your computer or VPin screen (where the apron is) and it will scan it. I am absolutely blown away with how they managed to incorporate such technology in this game. And I have no idea how they managed to do that. Huge props to them, so when you aren't losing balls through that secret upper left flipper hole, you can post your scores and achievements to Stern Insider.

All-in-all, the best table I ever played hands-down... even better than the original Stern Godzilla. This is a must try for literally everyone in the world, even your newborn child who is too young to understand pinball (there's a hidden feature VPW put in there where if your baby plays the game, it helps boost their IQ by up to 30 points when they grow up).
