mekurri2006 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Supposedly it works with the pinmame DLL available here but I've had no luck. Hey frenectic, Unit3d dev BilboX has confirmed that the next release ( maybe before XMAS ) will be compatible with vpinmame.dll we have here, so fingers crossed we have another toy to play with soon

Content Provider 85vett Posted December 16, 2014 Content Provider Posted December 16, 2014 Spinners or no spinners? that is the question. The Prem/LE are the only version of this table with spinners. I can't build that version do to aux board needs. with that said, I know several people put the spinners on the Pro for the look. they would not do anything in the game but I could put them on there and script them to make the drum sound like the LE/Prem has when hit. What do ya'll think? Add the spinners for look or leave it original.
stefanaustria Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Is this "Master of Puppets" ? Is on Archive at Stern Site ...
slydog43 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 85vett, yeah so glad your working on this one. I say no spinners if they can't be rom controlled, it might just confuse people when no increase in score when hitting the spinners.
Content Provider CarnyPriest Posted December 16, 2014 Content Provider Posted December 16, 2014 On the other hand, nothing wrong with a little fantasy design work. If you are looking for authenticity, virtual pins are the wrong place to look for it. That's the simple truth. A vote of yes for spinners. Of course, can always code it as a user option in the script.
kizam33 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I second on adding them. More fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Content Provider gtxjoe Posted December 17, 2014 Content Provider Posted December 17, 2014 Add them as an option. same could be done for TWD...
Content Provider freneticamnesic Posted December 17, 2014 Content Provider Posted December 17, 2014 hint ???

etherealmusic478 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 According to Sterns website it says "sold out" but I guess this isn't the same thing as "out of production"..am I right? lol!
Content Provider freneticamnesic Posted December 26, 2014 Content Provider Posted December 26, 2014 Not until it disappears from here http://sternpinball.com/games
jukedock Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Not until it disappears from here http://sternpinball.com/games Can not wait for Metallica release, sure it will be worth it !
Content Provider arngrim Posted December 26, 2014 Content Provider Posted December 26, 2014 with the latest vpm, the rom is going quickly out of sync, we will try to fix that in a next release
hannon904 Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I was wondering if there's a master of puppets version being worked on?
Administrators Dazz Posted January 3, 2015 Administrators Posted January 3, 2015 I was wondering if there's a master of puppets version being worked on? No, because we can't currently emulate the necessary parts of the game.
William Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 On the Stern website it says both the Metallica Pro and Premium are sold out so is that it? Master of Puppets LE is in the archives.
Administrators Dazz Posted January 4, 2015 Administrators Posted January 4, 2015 On the Stern website it says both the Metallica Pro and Premium are sold out so is that it? Master of Puppets LE is in the archives. Just means that it is sold out... Not out of production. Two different things.
stefanaustria Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 You can go to Stern, working, and do nothing, so = no Production lol
Content Provider 85vett Posted January 5, 2015 Content Provider Posted January 5, 2015 With the announcement of their new platform I'm betting it will go out of production in the near future.

William Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 With the announcement of their new platform I'm betting it will go out of production in the near future. yes, I think you're right. I don't think there will be anymore production on Metallica. As soon as Wrestlemania hits the purchasable stage, Metallica probably will get sent down to archives. And I was thinking with Metallica and AC/DC soon to be in the archives, they could really use a music pin. Wrestlemania is going to play with 10 different tracks from the intro of each wrestler that the player can select. Looks like they are trying to have the best of both worlds, a music pin and a theme of choice. Kind of smart on Stern's part.
Content Provider freneticamnesic Posted January 5, 2015 Content Provider Posted January 5, 2015 Not to mention Metallica was the one game they didn't bring with them to CES...
paulohotline Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 I guess TWD was the last SAM table, this new one uses a small motherboard and the OS is Linux http://www.theverge.com/2015/1/5/7492891/wrestlemania-pinball-machine-stern-linux
paulohotline Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Hey guys, Metallica is not at CES and WWE has been added to be website. This puppy is going to archive in the next couple of weeks for sure! http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/17/79/34/56/stern_10.jpg
