Get ready for a Gunfight between you and your friends, with Cosmic Gunfight!  This is a table I like to refer to as a tournament table for me and my buddies, because of it's gameplay, you can rack up points quickly, and even have some redemption after ball 3!

Cosmic Gunfight is a child of the 80's with it's laser fighting cowboys decorating the playfield, and sounds very similar to Blackout.  In fact, this table reminds me of a diet Blackout.

Pro pinballers, really give this table a hard time, because almost everything revolves around the right orbit.  Your ball lock, multipliers, locks all involve the right orbit, so going for that is the key to victory!

I know, a lot of people hate this concept, but I actually prefer a more simply machine, with simple rules, because in an intense competition, it's nice to not have to try and remember where every shot is, and where the best points are.

As I said this table is great for tournament play because of the easy rule set, and no terribly difficult shots.  But don't let this table fool you.  The outlanes can be brutal, and misplaced shots can lead to your doom.

One feature I LOVE in pinball is multiball stealing.  This table is one of those tables.  Hitting the ball up the right orbit, and lighting the 1 2 and 3 lights will activate ball lock 1.  Repeating this step will unlock, lock 2.  Locking ball two will start the three ball multiball.

However; all your hard work can be stolen, because if you locked ball one, and player two shows up and locks ball two, guess who's playing multiball?  Not you!   This table also register switch hits.  Meaning, the more targets and switches you hit, the quicker the orbit arrow will light up and give you serious points.

The last major feature of this table is Cosmic time.  On the left side of the playfield, you will find three targets.  ABC.  Knocking out ABC in the three columns will give you cosmic time. I think this feature is a blast, because you control what column you are going after, by holding the left flipper in and using the right flipper to switch between them.  However; the slingshots will move the arrow as well, so keeping an eye on where the arrow is, is key.

So what does Cosmic Time do?  Well after ball there, if you have activated Cosmic Time, you will get another timed ball to rack up some last second points!

If you are looking for a fun table to add into your tournament nights with buddies, give this one a go!   I really enjoy trying to beat my highscores solo as well, and until Goldchicco and his team re built this table, I NEVER played it, nor knew any of the rules.

The table plays great!   Compared to videos of the real table, it does an excellent job recreating the real thing.  As with any table, learn the rules before diving in to gain a better appreciation for the table.

Goldchicco and his team put out some excellent tables, and this one may be my favorite of theirs!  5 out of 5 stars.  As must play on any cab.

Really fun theme on this table. I love the sci-fi + western mashup. It seems pretty quirky for Williams, I'd initially assumed it was a Taito or GamePlan table.

And of course Goldchicco has done a stellar job reproducing it. The graphics are just gorgeous and the game is a blast to play. Another great table!
