this is an authorized Mod of Loserman76's "Mini Cycle (Gottlieb 1970)"

LM had already did a great job updating and building the mesh playfield, and created awesome physics for the center kicker hole, and gameplay in general..

  • the playfield image we have had to play with for years  is very dated, with baked on lighting from VP8 days and was also over darkened
  • I remove all the that baked on lighting from the PF to get it back to an "ok" neutral state
  • all the playfields trigger holes and slots were cut out and replaced with a primitive ways of filling them with a mesh "say no to the black abyss"  ;)
  • the plastics have always been a mess since the first time i tried to fix them, this time I did an old technique where it looks like the were printed on the bottom acrylic and they do look better
  • I created separate GI and ambient shadows, giving the lighting a much more realistic effect of casting of shadows
  • also added the correct octagon images for the hit targets
  • I believe the slit acorn nuts used were modeled by sliderpoint
  • the only code the was altered was the a modified Ball Shadow code @Thalamus found, the tucks the shadow under the ball a little bit better

The coolest kid in my class had a Honda Dax mini bike and a smoking hot girlfriend. I didn't.
Thanks to Hauntfreaks I can at least play the pinball machine! 😁

Gees Hauntfreaks, how do you find the time? This table looks and plays great!  These mini flipper tables are a real challenge to your nudging skills, or in my case lack of. Thanks Haunt, for a great job!!!

This is a vast improvement on previous versions, thanks very much,  although it sure is hard to get a good score on it with those wide apart flippers!

Wow. You guys keep raising the bar. I thought Loserman's version was great, but this is like looking through the glass at the real thing. Only difference is the real thing almost always looks and plays like a 50 year old machine, if you can even find one from this era that doesn't smell like rat dropping, mold and old smoke. Thank you!

So after about 50 balls Ive hit the ball maybe 20 times.  The flipper gap is massive. The sides are HUGE drainers. The flippers are "weak" and winnings virtually impossible -

And i freakin' love it. occasionally you come across a table that plays so real right of the bat, without having to tweak, that its sublime. Its refreshing to not clock a pin in 1 ball. (No reflection on my skill level, its just some recreations are too easy off the bat - nothing a little tweaking doesnt fix of course)

Fantastic table from Ed Krynski,  Art Stenholm,  Loserman, Hauntfreaks and all involved. Great B2S included too. woohoo.
