Hi,

 

Here is an updated version of The Simpsons (Data East 1990) table. This version was updated from Bigus' 2.0 mod, and originally created by 32assassin.

 

This is a fun and energetic table with classic Simpson callouts and music.  It includes the following updates:

 

  • nFozzy physics
  • Fleep mechanical sounds
  • Minor visual updates (primitive adjustments, POV)

 

Thanks to all the great contributors and creators.  A huge thanks to the VPW team for their great work which was used as an invaluable reference and a source for the Fleep sounds.

Here is 1.1 update.  Update includes the following:

 

  • Tightened up physics implementation (referenced latest VPW sample table)
  • Added LUT selection
  • Replaced apron instruction card

It's a great and nice table, thank you very much. Obviously, I give it 5 stars!

 

However, the correct ROM Name is simp_a27 (instead of simp, indicated in description).

Thank you for upgrading and sharing the table.

The table sounds and looks much nicer.

I only noticed that you used the wrong apron. This one is from Star wars 😬

Quality re-creation upgrade! Nfozzy physics and new sounds fit nicely, and Data East's "The Simpsons" was one of their high points.
