Sounds don't seem right to me. Background music very low. How do you turn up? Is altsound 2 supposed to be in the F1 screen or left at 0?

I seem to have this problem on fish tails VPW as well (low music, some sound effects muted)\

Two things though....

1. DOF is not working. B2B plugin is 'active', but no lights
2. The volume of the call outs is all over the place. Is there a way to improve this?

PS: fully updated to mame 3.6. I was hesitant since I just had everything, including DOF, working in 64Bit mode

The table is awesome, but I’ve noticed the ball often gets stuck in the chute when entering the toilet paper roll. Have to bump the cabinet pretty hard to get the ball to travel back up the chute, and it’s still hit-or-miss to get the ball to travel through. Eventually it does, but can take a bit of effort and time.

Yes, just download a fresh config file from https://configtool.vpuniverse.com/login.php

 

The ini files need to be up to date!

So, any time that a brand-new table is release, I need to download a new config set? I had no idea that every table's config was maintained by the DOF config tool. That's one hell of a database!

Me neither! I thought the commands for DOF were in the VPX script i.e. 

 

Blew my mind too, but does make sense in a way if you look at the database. Got that tip from the VPNation FB group.

 

Btw: did the flippers work for you when entering your name in the high score? That's my bug that isn't resolved nor confirmed yet

If the new table is rom-based you could use the existing DOF config for this Rom.

But have to set a new entry in vpmalias.txt and change the cgamename in script so it's the same.

Virtual Pinball studio says these files in red are missing. they are in fact not in my alt sound or in the download

Did this and still nothing. When I start up the game, no keys works except Q to quit.

I did the same d/l of vpinmame, running the ROM test shows it is valid, it just does not work.

Maybe you are getting an error message that you can't see?

Go into Preferences, Video Graphics Options, and uncheck "Force Exclusive Fullscreen Mode".

Now run table.

Does an error message show now?

What does it say?

What does it say?

I switched to windowed mode, no difference. None of the keys work except Q to quit, F12 to change settings and F11 to display graphics status. I just don't get it. 300 tables, this is the only one.

Sup guys, I’m on steam deck, got the table running, it starts and lights up, but the scoreboard is blank and no buttons work. Buttons work fine with Beavis and Butt-Head Pinball Stupidity. Anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

OK I have a different issue than above. I've been playing this table for a couple of weeks, and love it, however today I went to load and out of the blue I get a "line 76 game not found" error. I didn't delete or move anything. Everything is updated and the table is in the tables folder. Any Ideas? Thank you!

I am still getting the Game Name Not Found error, I am on the latest VPinMame 3.6... any one else fix this with the game not loading?

This was my issue with the "Solcallback" error as well.  Just to clarify for any others who have the problem.  Put the beav_butt.vbs file in the scripts folder in the VISUAL PINBALL folder and not in the pinmame/scripts folder.  Hope that helps.

hello, when i launch the table i get a black screen,i can hear music, i can insert credit ,press 1 and start the table (i can hear balls, bumpers etc.) but i can't see anything.

if i press f3 the table starts,i can see everything, music ok, i can insert credit, but when i press 1 it won't give me any balls.

the reset with f3 is what causing it, but if i don't press it the screen is black!

i hope someone can help me, i'd love to play it!

I've confirmed these are in the correct folders and done a restart, cleaned registry files and it still seems to say errors 78 and 117

Tried to wing it with VPMAlias.txt "beav_butt, beav_butt"
Still getting error 78.

How's that VR version coming along? I've been playing this version in VR, but the score doesn't show in the backglass.

This is such an awesome table, huge thanks for the creators! However, when compared to other tables this is quite heavy. I have already turned the graphics settings to almost minimum and still this particular table is stuttering with my computer. Any tips how to improve the performance?

No score for me either.  Table looking, sounding and playing great in VR Room (single screen Virtual Desktop on Quest 3) but I've got a static DMD on the backglass that's apparently not picking up the b2s (which does appear when VR not running).

 

Have ensured VR settings isn't disabling b2s, and it's set for capture DMD/Backglass.  B2s named the same as table.  Still no score for me.

Hi I noticed the flipper buttons don't work to change letters for highscore initials. 

Am I doing something wrong or is thus a known issue
