I am getting the same error as masterauto. I have the latest VPX beta (64 bit) and the latest flexdmd as well.

I also get another error sometimes:

Runtime error
-------------
Line: 909
Object not a collection

EDIT: I finally got it running by updating dmdext to latest, then reinstalling the latest flexdmd, then running the flexdmdui.exe and registering stuff. Note: I have never had to do that last step in the last 6+ years. But I still cannot start the game once it's running. I play in desktop mode and on one screen, the flexdmd is always in the background now and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix this issue. None of the usual buttons (1 or 5) seem to working to add coins or start the game. Not sure how to proceed. I will continue updating if I find anything helpful for the community.

Please, I could use an assist with the Music.
Table / BG / DMD / SSF play great!  (this is a fun table)

Initially I copied the cyberrace (music) folder to my Visual Pinball / Music folder. this didn't work.
So I copied the all of the mp3's from cyberrace folder to my Visual Pinball / Music folder. this didn't work either.
I updated the Music volume in the script from .25 to .55.  still no-go.
I also checked the PinUp / Option music volume and it was at 73 (same as my cabinet).
All files are unblocked and I can play all of the mp3's just fine, via my Audio app.

I also re-downloaded and re-installed everything, this didn't work either.
What am I missing?  I've installed almost 300 tables of the last 3 years and no music issues with them.

Would greatly appreciate any help / suggestions.
Thanks

I'm having issues as well. I started it without 64 bit (didn't see it needed 64 bit until later), and although I had errors, I had a dmd display. When I started it with 64 bit I didn't have any errors, but no dmd. I updated to Flexdmd 1.9 prior to testing. (I don't know if I had an old version or not, but just in case I overwrote the old files.)

Hi Tim, maybe try to set the value for max texture dimension to 2048 or 1024, (and save this setting as table specific ini) then this table plays well with x86 VPX. (I deleted all VR related images in image manager, also)

Your problem with "invisible" flexdmd could be solved with the b2s setting "dmd to background" (or similar wording...)

So the flexdmd is in foreground,

then resize the flexdmd to fit into the given place of dmd background picture

I'm not seeing an apron or flippers. And the table is very dark. I'm running VPX 10.8 64 bit in desktop mode. Any ideas what might be wrong?

What revision?  10.8b7 is 1807

I'll check it again, and adjust the max texture, but I can see the dmd isn't coming on at all. I always have to set every b2s to form to back, so my dmd shows correctly, so I'm used to that drill. In this case I know it's not even going on because I can click the backglass, (the taskbar becomes visible), and I can see what is being displayed. I have no b2s icon on the taskbar. I do on the 32 bit version- if it doesn't error out. (I know it's not intended for 32 bit).

Thanks for looking though, I'm going to keep playing with it.

I found out its sth with the spinners that cause my stutters. Anytime I hit one of both spinners the lag is tremendous. Whats triggered when hitting the spinners? Maybe its possible to leave sth out then (e.g. lighting, flashing, whatsoever that causes so much processing power on my weak system)?
