My issue is if I have the usePuPDriver.ini in the puppack... it the pup wont' launch at all. The backglass and fulldmd are blank. This is the same for futurama, Die Hard, Darkest Dungeon, Nightmare Before Xmas, etc. If I put a _bak or remove the file.. the pup packs work... but I get some visual error on Die Hard and Masters of the Universe FP. Any thoughts at all other than removing that file or making it a _bak? I've been trying to fix this for like a year! thx.

As directed, in the pupvideos folder, not the game pup folder and not pinupsystem

I'll try and move it and see what happens... thx

griffindodd Posted May 12, 2025 Posted May 12, 2025 This looks like a very nice pack, unfortunately I cannot get any video to play on the backglass, it has the animated overlay (Map or Ocean) but just black inside the frame (perhaps no events are triggering the video?). Also in my topper there's an image of one of the characters and a large block of black above it that spills out of the top of the topper window. I've tried many of the layout options but they still have the same issues. Software: VPX 10.8GL x64, VPinMAME 3.6, B2S 2.1.3, FlexDMD 1.9.1, Freezy 2.3.1, Pinup Popper 1.5 Screens: PF: Sony X85K 4k 120hz Portrait, BG/FullDMD: 1080p 60hz Portrait, Topper: UHD 60hz Landscape Computer: Ryzen 9 5900X, 64GB, RTX 4080 Super, NVME, Win 11

It’s been a while since I’ve had to deal with anything with this pup-pack, but let's try to address the videos not playing first. Please verify that VLC is NOT a version above 2.8. Check that your B2S Backglass Server is in EXE mode and that Activate plugins is checked. The GL versions of VPX can sometimes cause issues, but I’m hesitant to point that direction. Is it possible that the black bleeding onto your topper is coming from the Aztec coin animations? If so try taking the improved animations I’ve attached here, (provided by Panasony) and dropping them into the pup-pack overwriting existing files. potc_600as.7z

Unfortunately they did not solve the issue. I’m always run in exe mode and plugins are enabled. My table uses potc_600af so I’m not sure if that may be the issue.

It works the best with the color dmd as well as the pup pack
kcirrick Posted May 18, 2025 Author Posted May 18, 2025 Cliffy is on the money! Also, no guarantee, but rather than posting here in the old work in progress thread you might get additional responses and suggestions if you shared your issue in the POTC pup-packs comments.
griffindodd Posted May 19, 2025 Posted May 19, 2025 I appreciate you trying to help, I think I'll just set this aside for now and stick with the b2S.
