Avengers Pro (Stern 2012)

Avengers Assemble!

The Avengers is a colorful, fast-paced pin based on the world of the first Avengers movie.  It was designed originally by George Gomez and released by Stern in 2012.

GTXJoe, Sliderpoint and 32assassin all contributed to a great looking version that simply needed some upgraded physics, sounds and a few other odds and ends to smooth it all out.

Here are the major upgrades included:

nFozzy Physics
Fleep Sounds
Flupper Domes with Modulated Flashers
VR Room
Playfield Mesh for Hulk Eject
Play Balance
New Desktop Background
Upscaled Playfield and Upscaled Apron
Tweaks to Black Widow Ramp

VR Upscaled Details, Playfield Touch Ups and Optional Sideblades by Retro27 (Thanks!)

Thanks to the folks at VPW and the testing team of PinStratsDan, Apophis, Wylte, PrimeTime5K, bietekwiet and Smaug.

Enjoy collecting those Avengers and see you in the Wizard modes!

Very nice table and DOES play beautifully, thanks to EVERYONE who has worked on it over the years 😃

VR PROBLEM TO REPORT THOUGH: The DMD doesn't show in VR. It happily appears on my desktop in top left like all my other tables but doesn't get replicated to the backglass in the VR room. I'm using VPinballX_GL.exe 10.8.0 Beta Rev. 1347 32-bit) and PinMAME32 3.5

Out of curiosity, I tried editing the script and using the other 2 options but no joy. I also downloaded the above mentioned code file, just to make sure.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks 👍

OK I worked out the no DMD in VR issue - follow the direction in the section "2.1 Edit the script:" on this page:

Works perfectly, thanks so much @ArthurDentist, literally added:

Dim UseVPMDMD
UseVPMDMD = true

...before the load line and all is GREAT!

Perhaps add to the next update @TastyWasps😀

Hi, I am getting an error on line 362 SpBall(1).vely = -0.01 for some reason.  Any idea what is happening here?

Did you figure this out? Getting that error too.
