So I suppose I have to keep my old version. Works great with 2.1.3-snapshot 32 bits.
I tested a few games on your list (edited my previous post) : all is ok (except fsq of course).

yeah unless you have pal/vni or pac versions of same. The lates Freezy is 2.2.1-SNAPSHOT-r12 so 2.1.3 was a ways back

Just for my information please, do Baywatch / Dr Who exist in other format than .fsq ?
I found a pal/vni version of CFTBL but it's way less colorfull than .fsq version.

 

EDIT : Found them : Baywatch is OK, Dr Who is OK (pal/vni version).

I have a drwho PAC file. Played a game with multiple scenes and looks fine. Dome glitches, but could be in the original version as well

 

Street Fighter II : OK

Dr Who (pac) : Ok
Cactus Canyon : OK

Cactus Canyon :Continued (p-roc) OK (although through dmdext.exe some issues, but will report that on github)

Godzilla : OK

Diner : Colors OK, but still slow showing Scenes (real DMD)

Fish Tales "PAC"

VPX,GOOD

FX3,GOOD

FX, Some scenes have solid color ei:(fish finder), when game starts "fish tales" is solid blue not green

Maverick mav_402 pal/vni 

Nearly all yellow. worked ok with R11.  32 and 64 bit. attract mode colors good. In game scenes all yellow

 

NBA Fast Break nbaf_31 .pac colors great

We agree that FSQ is for real pins only and not supposed to work with dmdext, right? And it never did? By "dmdext" I mean my original project and not lucky1's fork.

 

Thanks for the testing, I appreciate it. It's a little hard however to follow up on each comment. Would it be possible for you guys to create a GitHub issue per game that has problems? Ideally, include a log so I'm sure which dmdext version was used, and a download link to the colorization so that I can reproduce. Thanks again!

I believe this is normal. It hasn't been coloured beyond attract at this stage.

 

Edit: Sorry, I see you said it worked ok with R11.

I will do some other checks as well, as I noticed issue(s) with FX as well. I willcreate a seperate issue on github for those

so here is my 2.2.1 r12 personal report

TMNT still crash on me after some time. Can be 30 sec or ten minutes but never happened when i uncheck colorize.

As noted world cup soccerhas some glitches

checkpoint is the same as before with a lot of  red only colored screens

Monstert bash, medieval madness and many other bally williams games are now perfect(like dracula).

Street fighter 2 wich was problematic is good now.

Same. Total lockup whether pac or pal/vni used. Submitted issue to @freezy along with maybe 10 others so far

i saw a snapshot version was released how do i download from this site. i notice color works but it get glitched out like theater of magic godzilla terminator. 

 

Is there a fix? Do I need lucky1 files.?

tmnt is working wihout crash

checkpoint as improved

Attack from mars crash after some games(10 to 20 minutes) just like tmnt in previous revision but after a longer time

most games i ve tested are good otherwise

I can't seem to find the r15, my TMNT still crashes after 10min on r12.

Hi lucky, I just did those files and they seemed to solve my problem with Diner and Bugs Bunny color dmds, I was afraid it was going to mess up my other dmds but it seems like it didn’t mess anything up.

there is zero lag on those 2 dmds now.

Im hoping this is a simple fix. After updating to the new version of dmdext when i reposition/resize the external dmd it doesnt save the position i have put it in. How can i fix this. Please help as this is driving me crazy. Thank you

It is simple. Once you have it where you want just right click on it and a mini menu will pop up to save globally or just for this game
