For the Elvis fans, Thought I'd drop some more progress on you all, since it has been a few weeks..

Couple still shots, couple turned into animated gifs...(again, frames may be partially out of order from what they would be in game, I'm lazy), but you will get the idea of what is happening, and a couple with source comparison..

I'm still capturing/dumping as I go.. each dump has less and less new frames as expected :)

Hoping to soon split the project into 2 and start the Grease Coloring as well.  Hopefully by end of the month (If not bogged down with RL day to day stuff).

Cheers!

This is amazing. Can’t wait to update Elvis DMD. One of my favorite tables. Thank you for your time and hard work on this. Any ETA on completion? ☺️

I'm guessing about 20-25% done..  SO.. a few more months.. Likely a descent playable release end of summer/early fall (Aug/Sept/Oct).  It's my spare time hobby. I do work on it daily.. Some days progress is better then others..   I will update my starter topic with a progress timeline.. If you have joined the Serum Discord server, I update the Elvis channel with progress on there, as well as drop WIP releases.. I'm still dumping and getting new frames for mostly the slot machine sequences currently).  I still have some modes to enable (directors cut, etc.) and see if that captures any new frames as well.    I just recently enabled team play and dumped it's different frames..  The dump aspect is really time consuming..  Trying to split my spare time between Dumping frames/ masking/Coloring new unique frames and still leave a little time to install other people's works/playing..

I'll likely change this.. not super happy with it (the wall background).

Thanks all for the positive feedback..

Playing with Zed's background feature allowed me to add some Elvis portraiture images to various "Dull" screens.. like high scores..

The scores themselves use the color rotation feature for a rotating gradient effect. Some quick examples: (minus the rotation on these captures)

I've hidden backgrounds in various other places as well for example:

Also just finished  coloring the Graceland start sequence and the various text blocks that follow/overlay it, here is a few frames from it.  I'll likely still make a few more changes to this.

Not quite happy with it yet, just not sure what on it yet.. Maybe a gradient to the text "Graceland", dunno..

Moving on to something else and will cycle back to it in the future after I get my eyes off it for awhile.

20 sec of see see rider start sequence in action on cabinet.  Few frames I need to clean up.  Video taken with phone, sorry for poor quality., I'll set the camera(s) on the cabinet to capture what gameplay is looking like hopefully this weekend.

Also got about 10,000 half frames done (the slot machine side).  Still missing a few slot combos in my dumps.. plan to play a couple hours this weekend and hopefully capture the last of them.. then progress should speed up as I can finalize the shared half palette (for the slots) they would use. And the other half of the pallete tailored to the specific elvis song.

That's the license with Serum file format, it is completely free for ANY use. There are open source and DIY projects on their way like PPUC with ZeDMD to make it available for real pinballs.

I can, I have, I am..  got the majority of them..  it's random.. not guaranteed.  I'm more then happy to import other people txt dumps into the project to see if they have frames I have not gotten yet.  It won't hurt me, only will help me out.   It's not just the 3 slots..  it's the 3 slots various combinations for every frame of Elvis's pose he is at (eyes closed, slight head turn, open right eye) etc..
