Taito Posted April 2, 2025 Posted April 2, 2025 Here, after starting, it presents an error error line 1079 end of instruction expected is anyone able to play it?
laralala Posted October 21 Posted October 21 (edited) For the people having issues with that error on line 1079, the problem is the dynamically generated code that uses the decimal separator of your locale and then tries to make the VB engine execute it. Basic, like any other programming language, only recognizes numbers in English, so it expects a dot as decimal separator. If your language uses something else, well, it won't work. To fix it, open the script and add setlocale(1033) at the top of the scrip, after "ExecuteGlobal". Like this: '* '* Stern Pinball (1977) - EM Version '* Table scripted by Loserman76 '* '* '* option explicit Randomize ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile("core.vbs") setlocale(1033) <---- you add this line .... I always plug that in after Randomize and parentheses not needed SetLocale 1033
laralala Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Yeah, it will work too. It's those weird parenthesis rules that VB uses that I can never remember.
