Restoration included a repaint of the cab/head, new backglass, mechanical fixes and a lot of the playfield repainting and clear coat. I scanned the playfield and plastics before selling the machine so the geometry of the table is spot on. @scottacus Can I ask what you did for restoring the cabinet art? Did you re-stencil everything or just touch up? The end results look great!
scottacus Posted July 6, 2021 Author Posted July 6, 2021 I used a projector to display the art on a piece of cardboard and traced the artwork onto the cardboard to make multiple masks. These were then used to airbrush the stencil so that I got some over spray around the stencil. The cab was base painted and flocked before this.
Hatter1224 Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 All of these tables are phenomenal. Fantastic work!
Kongadude Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 This was my version of what I thought the otherwise, dull, backglass of Fashion Show could've looked like(It was a project I haven't finished)"Coffee Shop Cuties"was a take on the Diners of the 50's-60's,just sexier!Ha ha
scottacus Posted July 8, 2021 Author Posted July 8, 2021 Nice! Fashion Show I know since I wrote that script for Bord. Getting the clear point value spinner to work was fun.

That's really something, thanks for sharing the process!
