Hi, please be kind with "kids" when they're just reporting their experience in a nicely manner.

We all are grateful for David's work.

Thanks.

yeah,  thats a VPX GL 'quirk'.  there is no such thing as 'window-mode' in vpx-gl unless you do the 1-less pixel trick.  so even if you say 'windowed' in vpx setup,  if your window size  is exactly same size as monitor then it will auto-become exclusive.

Got it. Thank you for that clarification!

I've been thoroughly enjoying Popper for years, and you never cease to amaze me with the software. Thanks again.

I tried the Beta v24 files with the newly released 'Big Trouble in Little China' table.  I followed the upgrade video on the Big Trouble In Little China table page.  When I have reverted to my 1.5 file versions I am now finding that in Popper Controller Setup it is always assigning JoyCode 12 now  so I am unable to get my flippers set up correctly.  I can use the keyboard to move through the games and launch them and then the flippers are working in VPX.  I just did a system restore to yesterday to see if that would fix the issue, but it hasn't.   It seems strange that this has happened just as I tried the beta. Does anyone recognise this issue or have suggestions as to anything I can try. I have mentioned it in the 'Big Trouble In Little China' support thread too.

Ok so I ran joy.cpl in Windows and it showed that input 12 was always on as in image below. I checked my Dude Cab configurator and Fire was associated to button 12.  I don't have a dedicated Fire button so I just set Fire to None and that seemed to turn 12 off and I was able to assign the flipper buttons in controller setup.  No idea what has gone on today, but I've managed to get things working again thankfully.

Just to add that although my popper interface is working now I was advised to report the fact that I got a pointer exception when trying the Beta and crashed out of Big Trouble and popper. The message was captured in the PinUPDisplayErrorLog

20260417 15:33:43 Invalid pointer operation

I now think the null pointer left the system in an inconsistent state i.e. left the fire button switched on.

Hi, not sure if I'm posting this in the correct forum, but I recently upgrade PinUpPopper to Beta 2.0 and I've added my FX3 tables for the first time. I have a 3 screen setup and have good animated backglasses, animated full dmd and have the dmd over the top of it using Pupdmd.  Everything works well, except that the dmd is not in the correct position. All the mp4 files I use have a space for the dmd towards the bottom of the screen , but on every fx3 table the dmd is closer to the middle of the screen.

Where does pupdmd pick up the dmd positioning from and how can I amend it?

Rookie mistake ....  The cabinet options for Pinball Classic (FX3) had reverted back to the original cabinet settings. Not sure how that happened. But I corrected the Dot Matrix as per the Popper Zen FX Classic (FX3) Setup and the virtual DMD is set in its default place. Plus, I can now update the DMD position manually per table by putting the positions details into the PupDMDControl.ini.

I just wanted to mention again, that APNG files are not transferred when you update a table using popper, it only moves single PNG media file...
