MaxVelocity Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 With regard to VPX, is there any actual particular reason nFozzy physics have not ever applied to a particular VPX table? For example a table like CSI. It's a great table. But no nFozzy. It's like a bit of a mystery to me, honestly. Some tables get nFozzy love all the time, yet others go like years and years never seeing any nFozzy... If you know the answer why, please let me know! Max Velocity
neil81992 Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Applying nFozzy physics is not a simple 5 minute task. Firstly, an author would have to learn how to implement the physics (check the VPW youtube videos for an indication of how much there is to learn) and then the process itself is very laborious. Huge thanks to those that spend so much time learning and using the skills to create for the community.
Content Provider TerryRed Posted November 18, 2025 Content Provider Posted November 18, 2025 Simple answer... its a lot of work, and not fun to do. nFozzy requires aspects of adding new code to the script, adding new items to the table itself, and possibly rebuilding large portions of the table... then lots of tuning, testing, tuning, testing. It's the same reason FizX physics aren't added to every FP table out there (and its a similar process). It's simply a lot of (not very fun) work to do.
VPinWorkshop Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 From our perspective as well, there's also no point putting advanced physics on tables which don't have accurate scanned assets and dimensions, otherwise after all that you're still not going to make the machine play like the real one.
