Mecha_Enron Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 View File Hollywood Heat (Gottlieb 1986) THE HEAT IS ON!! Advertised as the first game to use 8-digit scoring, this 1986 Gottlieb classic is a vice worth having. Using Gottlieb's Sys80b MPU, Hollywood Heat was led by game designer John Trudeau feautring sound by Ken Hale. Production began in June 1986 with 3,400 cabinets being produced. Featuring: -4 Player -3-ball Multiball -In-sync drop targets -Heat Bumper -Hot Shot ramp This table is my first to bring to life for the VPin community and has been a huge labor of love over the last couple of months. Influence for the table design comes from the classic 1984 tv series Miami Vice and I've tried to bring that same spirit to the tables lights and images. Users are also now able switch GI lights between 'Miami' mode and 'Classic' incandescents. I play the table with a day/night percentage set to 20% to give the player a classic Miami nightlife feel but the default is set to 50% for individuals who prefer the more common lighting. Based on the 2021 Hollywood Heat (Gottlieb 1986) recreation by BorgDog, this updated table includes: -VLM and VPW's toolkit visuals -Nfozzy physics -Fleep sounds -Upscaled playfield -Desktop Mode -VR Room Special thanks to the VPW team and specifically the following individuals who helped develop, playtest, and troubleshoot: @apophis @borgdog @cl4ve @darth vito @dgrimmreaper @flupperone @frankenstein @gedankekojote97 @guus_8005 @hauntfreaks @m.carter78 @primtetime5k @somatik @studlygoorite @tomate @UnclePaulie Submitter Mecha_Enron Submitted 10/10/24 Category VPX - Pinball Tables

DomiKamu Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 (edited) OBSOLETE REPORT - SEEM FIXED SINCE RELEASE v1.4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, It's a nice table, thank you very much, but it have potential stucked ball behind upper-right flipper, exactly as mentioned by user Stoub from "Reviews" section (with screen capture). Having this issue twice (including on first play, pratically on very first shoot 😉). Obviously, on stucked ball situations, it's impossible to continue the game (must close the table/VPX). Pincab specs: Visual Pinball X v10.8.0 RC4 (64-bit), Desktop mode (HD 1920x1080). VPinMame v3.6.0.998.a77c2d2 (both 64-bit & 32-bit, but VPinMame is unused for this table). Lastest FlexDMD (unused for this table). Lastest B2S Server (unused for this table). Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (64-bit), Intel Core i9-9900KF @ 4.5GHz, 32GB RAM DDR4-3200, ASUS NVIDIA RTX2080 (8GB) GPU, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe... vpmatt Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 Awesome work. It looks and plays fantastic. Well done! The ball got stuck with me on 2 occassions, in 2 different spots. - upper left flipper when I shot the ball up the ramp - upper right flipper when the ball 'dropped' behind it
