NOTE: This download does not include the song files. You will need to acquire the songs on your own.

Instructions for Installation:
1. Download the VPX, B2S and Audio Files folder.
2. Inside the Audio Folder, you will find two folders: "AG" for the songs, and "AGSounds" for the movie sound clips. Place both folders in your Visual Pinball/Music folder. (Do not put them together inside another folder.) This allows audio ducking so the music volume lowers during movie clips.
3. The song list, and the required file names, is below. All songs are on the full soundtrack. (The "Highlights" version of the soundtrack does not have all songs). Place  your MP3 files of songs in "AG" folder. I modified my songs in Audacity to remove all low/high end and added reverb to make them sound like they were coming from a car radio in the distance. If you'd like to know how I did it, message me. (NOTE: The B2S files have a jukebox song selector with lights that correspond to the song list. You may use other songs but the lights won't match on the backglass/third screen. There is also a table option #3 to turn the music Off, see below.

Toppers and wheel logos uploaded to their respective categories on VPU.

Options: (Press and Hold Left Flipper Button in Attract Mode. Left Flipper toggles options, Right Flipper toggles values)
1. 3 or 5 ball games
2. Free Play/Coin Play
3. Music On/Off
4. Music Volume

Other Options in Script:
1. VR Room, line 40
2. Left gate at drag race lane, line 57:   A.) Challenging "0": Allows one ball-save per ball, then closes to allow outlane drain. B.) Easier "1": Stays open except during multiball, then closes until one ball in play.

Game Features:
- A drag race between ball 1 and ball 2 starts multiball. Light the top lanes. Get ball 1 into the left lane. Shoot Ball 2 from plunger lane in race against Ball 1. Watch the light between the flippers. First ball to the top gates wins.
- Pinball machines in a pinball machine!
- 3rd Screen B2S jukebox  song list with lights to indicate current song. Right Magnasave changes song.
- Left Magnasave pulls up various hit event counts needed to start Wolfman Jack Challenge
- Progressively darker LUTs with each ball to mimic nightfall (like the events in the movie)

Still getting ball stutter on ball launch when it reaches the top of the table and at various point in the game.

I've downloaded and placed the songs in mp3 format into the AG folder in to the Music folder and named them appropriately.

Also placed the sounds into the AG Sounds folder.

I did replace 4 songs that weren't readily available with other songs - but used the proper naming convention and number of songs.

I ran this in 10.8 64 bit on a new PC i714700, RTX4060, so I don't know why it would be a performance issue.

I rebooted and the problem still exists.

After repeated play I see that it stutters every time the callout finishes and the next song cues and plays for 1-2 seconds.

Turning off the music in Left Flipper options eliminates the problem.

Sorry you're having stutter. I'm on vacation and only have a Mac with me, so I can't test things.

What I've heard is that the stutter is caused by WMPlayer looking for songs in a certain location.

Are your paths to the songs and movie clips exactly (and the songs are labeled like: "AG1.mp3" with the .mp3 extention)
C:\Visual Pinball\Music\AG
C:\Visual Pinball\Music\AGSounds

If you're hearing songs, I'm assuming you have Windows Media Player active on Win10 or Win11.

Will you check this?

Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Manage optional features > Add a feature > Windows Media Player, then select Install

It's part of Win10 and Win11 but not active.

If those are OK, I'll need to talk to Scottacus about it.

Hiya,

The table is looking great. thankyou for your work, I have ripped the tunes that go with it and installed as described and the table runs well including the music, I do have one problem though and have absolutely no idea of solving the issue ( probably something missing from my setup )... I downloaded the 3 screen b2s file but the full apron display appears in miniature at the top left hand side of my backglass display instead of where it should be in the middle ( full apron ) screen, ( see pics ).... can you please point me in the right direction to correcting this and I have only limited knoweledge of the inner workings on VPX.

Thanks again for your work, it is greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have the Win11 media pak installed, but VLC was my default media player. I changed it to use Win as default but the problem persists for me.

Hope you enjoy your vacay!

Will you confirm that your music files have the ".mp3" extension on them? They may be mp3 files but the file name must be AG1.mp3  .... etc.

Are you using the basic degfault backglass/DMD setup?

It may be as simple as dragging to your DMD screen and using the lower left corner to drag it to size. Or right click on the jukebox and select "show borders" or something like that, then dragging the corners to fit your DMD screen. Then right click again and hide borders.

Yes, they are named AG1-AG25.mp3

All the songs play when cued, and I can rotate through the playlist with the left magnasave.

If you include the music mp3 files the stutter on ball stops, so the solution is to include them or stop the music within the menu

I have the exact same issue as above. All music tracks are named correctly with the .mp3 as part of the filename. When running the table I get the same 3 second audio clip on repeat (not a song either) and using the right magnasave will change the track on the backglass yet it's the same audio clip. Turning music off turns this off so I know my files are correct

yes and I've tried clicking on the dmd where its displayed but it doesn't highlight or anything it just appears to be a part of the backglass picture.

for now I'm just using a black full apron screen but the table is still enjoyable. ;)

For those folks with stuttering problems on this table.

First thing is to check your music files.

If you downloaded those from internet, downgrade to 128bkps compression on mp3 files, so VPX doesn't wait to another programs to end or start the music file, and make stuttering.

I did it and stuttering dissapear.

I hope this can help.
