Inside the ZIP there’s a Music folder, and inside that is a folder named “Kiss.” Make sure you copy that entire Kiss folder into your <Visual Pinball>\Music directory (so it ends up as <Visual Pinball>\Music\Kiss). (If you had the old version then this is different now, the mp3 files used to be placed directly in music folder but now must be in Kiss folder)

Also check F12 options — I believe the second option enables/disables music. Make sure it’s not set to Off.

Do you hear the callouts (for example, “Let’s call that rehearsal”)? If not, it’s possible your backglass sounds are muted on your system.

the other versions of the table had weird black and white parts, some parts did not move and Gene took forever to blow fire to show if you matched...

The black and white parts are probably still there, but the wait between balls is shorter because the DMD cycles through stuff faster, and Gene blowing fire is still there but has been shortened a bit so it doesn't seem like as long of a wait

Looks and plays amazing... BUT no matter what i do or try... i CANNOT get the DMD to work at all.  Nothing... nada. Its not hiding or moved... it will not load peroid. Does this for all Kiss 2015 versions i have... not just this one.

Now with that said, i am also having problems with a few other tables...  (Thunderbirds 60th) same thing though.. dmd doesnt load at all so has to be something in my install??.  BUT i have reinstalled 10.80 vpx (dont like 10.81 beta) reinstalled dmdext, freezy, vpinmame updated etc..

PLEASE HELP!!

I'm in the exact same boat with everything updated and checked and still have multiple Flexdmd tables that don't run the DMD.  I reinstalled Flexdmd 1.9.1 again now and registered to get all green checkboxes and DMDs still don't show anywhere.  Windows/Tab doesn't show a Flexdmd program running.  I've been stumped for months on this.  The only Flexdmd copy I have from Github is the one that throw up all the virus warnings that you have to bypass.  I wonder if I have a janky copy of the program.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Regardless, fantastic graphic upgrade to this table, another awesome BG from the Haunt, and the music is phenomenal.  Thanks team!

Awesome update! There are lot's of things to love with the graphics and physics. Mason, did you catch the notes on discord in table-talk about the right ramp? It might be helpful to you. Thanks again for all the hard work!

Great job,

looks great, plays great (although right ramp its a little hard to maké the ball go round) so thank for the update!

Question:
On the orignal table (IRL) normally the matrix (the achievements as shown by the lights above/in between the flippers) does not reset after a ball drain. (it's an option but default it is off).

Is it possible to have this behaviour on this table as well?

When you achieve all the lights there should be a wizard mode so if that is implemented in this version (is it??)  it would be nice to be able to start and play it.

Thanks!

Great job thanx

2 quick questions:
-Is the right ramp supposed to be a bit difficult to get it up and around?
-Are the balls supposed to self launch if left idle in between balls?  (not referring to "rock again" ball save).

Thank you

all playfield lights get reset at the end of ball because they are all in the "alights" collection. Could you tell me the name of each light that should stay on between balls(e.g. i26, i23, etc)? I could try removing them from the alights collection and only reset them when a new game starts, maybe you can send me that list and DM and I can work with you on this that way

Thanks for your reply.

did try to send you a DM but the site response is that Burger can not receive messages......

So therefor I'll post it here:

The lights involved are i9-i24, the so called Grid.

On default settings IRL these achievements, once you collect them , do not turn off on a ball drain making it possible to fill the grid completely to be able to start Heaven’s on Fire Wizard Mode.

But even if this Wizard mode is not implemented in this VP version of the table (is it?) it's more fun if they do not reset so there's an extra goal to play for.

Or may-be make it F12 adjustable, or in the script (IRL in the option menu you can change the default -no reset- to reset as well).

Thanks!

Great update so far.

Looks really well in VR.

Does it support DOF?

I get a script error, when I plunge a ball and press a flipper the same time.

Thank you for the update.

Latest version (1.1) still has the wrong left flipper friction value (0) 🙂
To me, value 1 (instead of the suggested 0.9 for both) seems to work better. Easy fix - thanks to XVector for the tip -, just wanted to mention it so this could perhaps be fixed in the next upload (if there will be any).

Also, it would be nice to have an F12 option to hide the cabinet rails in non-VR mode. I just replaced those rail images with a black one, but the option control would be welcome for all tables, not just this one.

If you increase the number in line 199 in the script, this will delay the autolaunch

Hello @masonm
I'm looking for the KISSCore.vbs script.
Do you have it and could you please share it with me ?
I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks a lot.

With this table it’s not needed. But those files should be with the other kiss tables
