Stranger Things

Awesome update to the physics and lighting, thank you so much for bringing back this classic and thank you for acknowledging @scottywic. He and this table (and his Harry Potter table, are you thinking of doing that one next? 😃) and his youtube videos were a big reason I got into the VPX hobby. Thanks for all you are doing LW your updates are all 5 star!

This table is the best of the bunch, no question! Thank you for all the tweaks and improvements your group made over what was already an awesome table from Scotty Wick. The great looking side blades are a big plus as well! This also works perfectly with the totally awesome Pup pack. You rock.

Very cool table! Thank you for this version. As I'm still very new to VPX, I'm not sure where to put the STLE.UltraDMD folder and files. Also, I have only a couple of sound effects, but no other sounds, like the ball itself, the flippers and all other basic effects. Can anyone help me out? It's working fine, I just have no DMD and (most of the) sounds. I'm on a MacBook Pro in VPX Standalone. Cheers! 

*Edit*: I got it working! Now all I need to figure out is how to change the colour on the DMD from blue to orange, like in the YouTube video made by PinStratDan. Thanks!

Great update to the table @LoadedWeapon and really glad to see that the rails have been redone as the previous ones were very angular and rough - these look great. 

Just wish the ramps themselves were higher up the back wall as regardless of perspective they feel too flat against the playfield (this was an issue in the original table as well though you have made them look far better). 

Also any advice on how to get the pup pack onto the DMD screen rather than backglass would be much appreciated.

Update 3.06 is fantastic, I had stopped playing this table when all the Fleep tables started coming out and with these updates, she is right back into my favorite playlist. Thanks guys....and nice work MerlinRTP

Thank you to LoadedWeapon, this is my favorite of all the Stranger Things tables, it feels the most like a real machine and the PUP is also quite nice

I enjoy this table.

Scotty does great work and gives a template on how PUP packs should be visualized and implemented.

I noticed since update 3.0, the inlane and outlane lights do not cycle when pressing the flipper buttons.

I hope this gets addressed in the next update (the lane lights cycle in the older versions, and ST4.)

One thing I really like about these updates is how sharp, clear and crisp the graphics are getting; the table is starting to look photorealistic.

I play the real pin in the arcade from time to time; I prefer this one with the PUP pack and adventure type progression. Plus, there isn't an "upside down" playfield on Stern's version. They really missed the mark with their design. Thank you Scotty for correcting Stern's blatant oversight. Stern should try actually doing research on the pin they are making before designing a cookie cutter fan layout with a generic bash toy and a gimmicky screen inside the playfield.

Such a great table! As a fan of the series and music (having grown up in the eighties) this is so much fun! I am playing in VR and nice you can choose multiple options. Thanks! Btw, shouldn’t the “Contains VR Room” tab say “yes”?

Great work guys! I'm so happy this great table now has VR, nFozzy and Fleep and a great VR room to boot. 

This update has now added ST back into rotation. Thank you for the effort you have put into this! 

A fantastic table and PuP pack already but brought up to date with many of the new features and improvements along with an awesome cabinet POV. It doesn't get much better. Thank you @LoadedWeapon and all involved with this project and the various other releases your time and work is really appreciated. 👍
