Manufacturer: Exhibit Supply Company, of Chicago, Illinois,
USA (1932-1957) [Trade Name: ESCO] Date Of Manufacture: February, 1946 Type: Electro-mechanical (EM)  Serial Number Database: View at The Internet Pinball Serial Number Database (IPSND.net)  (External site) Theme: Girls - Glamour - Pageantry - Women Specialty: Flipperless  Notable Features: 1 to 4 coins can be inserted to play. Scoring bumpers (13), Kick-out hole (1). Backglass measures 21 by 21 inches. Notes: The Billboard ad shown here indicates this game was available in two models, Multiple or Straight. We presume that "Multiple" means more than one coin can be inserted before start of game and that "Straight" means only one coin per game. Of the pictures already presented to us, we don't know which model they are or how to tell the difference between models. We have no good images of the coin door for this game, if a difference would be found there.

Unfortunately, I don't have Future Pinball set up to test this game out, but I am actually restoring a real one.

In terms of the Multiple vs Straight, I am not sure, but the game I have does not have lights along the bottom of the backglass for coin 1, 2, 3, or 4.  There are holes in the light box for lamps there, but no lamps and no wiring.  But, the backglass does have the coin 1, 2, 3, 4 printed on the back.  (So, maybe one backglass regardless of style of game?)  Additionally, there are scoring lights down the left side of the backglass, but not the right.  Even though, again, there are holes cut out of the light box for lamps, and the blackglass has the numbering printed on the back on the right side, but no lamps and no wiring on the right.

So,... not sure if that's part of the difference?

Hope this helps a little!

Response from the author:

Hi, BiffBiif.
When I recreated the Big Hit game, I based it on the VP8 version of Ir Pinball. My knowledge has always been somewhat limited because I'm not a programmer, just a fan of old-school pinball machines (we called them "flippers" in my country).

That is to say, I tried to convert the scripts to Future Pinball as best I could.
There aren't any videos of the Big Hit Exhibit 1946 on YouTube. There is some information on Pinside.com and at https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/460536490256040/
I've never been sure if my version is 100% correct, but I did the best I could. I hope this information is helpful, and... good luck!
